Q:
for the 5/8" dimension, is that the measurement from the bottom all to way to the top, or is that the measurement from the bottom to the point where it angles? the floor I'm installing is 3/4", so I'm thinking this would be too short.

  The 5/8" dimension is the overall height top to bottom, so you would need to "build up" with some stock material to support the drop down portion.
