Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Acacia Quick Clic Engineered |

Schön Quick Clic engineered flooring is constructed with a real hardwood veneer atop a moisture-resistant HDF core (high density fiberboard) which is made from real wood fibers that are compressed into a dense, impact-resistant format. In addition to providing extra protection against denting, the HDF enables the most precise milling of the locking profile to enhance ease of use and long-term durability. Quick Highlights: We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.) Did you know? Don't forget the molding and stair treads!

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Acacia:
This floor is absolutely gorgeous once you get it down. But had I researched floating flooring before I bought it, I probably would not have made the purchase. I had glued down engineered flooring that I took up to put this down. The floating floor makes a really odd noise and sounds kind of cheap. Has a lot of creaking noise especially in the morning when its cooler. Sounds like your walking in a 100 year old house! The look however is rich and beautiful until you take the first step. Be sure and place felt tipping on the bottom of all furniture before moving it back onto the floor. We moved a rather heavy china cabinet and promptly scratched the floor. So not sure how durable this floor will be. However, once we put the felt tips on the furniture, it was fine. Even though the look is beautiful, I probably would not purchase again.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Acacia:
This floor is absolutely beautiful with alot of character. We have rustic/cabin decor and this floor blends extremely well with our decor. It has only been laid down for about a month but it withheld some abuse as our contractors are still working in the house and so far the floor has held up and cleans up very well.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Acacia:
This is such a beautiful floor! The color variances are just what I wanted, with a great mix of darker and blonder planks and everything in between.
Install was a piece of cake, although I will say the first row was the toughest, and we ended up installing two rows to begin with, by laying two planks together in the first row, and then a plank on the next row to support the joint.
We worked from 7 boxes at a time to make sure we had a good variety of color.
The board sizes vary greatly, and the longest boards are at the bottom of the box, so it's best to unpack several boxes and lay out the boards according to size and work directly from the piles.
The service was also great! We had this shipped from Washington via barge service, up to Alaska.

This is my first time having engineered floors. The color and finish are wonderful and striking. The downside is that it is relatively easy to scratch. The scratches would be less noticable on a lighter colored floor, so you should weigh your design needs vs. the practicality of another choice. In the end, I would choose it again because I love the color and texture.

I installed this floor in our master bedroom and adjoining hallway and I could not be happier with the outcome!
The variance in the length of the planks makes for a nice random appearing pattern but it does force you to pay closer attention to joint spacing.
Well worth the money, and a pretty straightforward install.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Acacia:
Very easy to install. Beautiful wood. Exceptional finish. The length of the pieces varies: The majority of the pieces are 18 inches and 30 inches (equal number of each) - the other lengths are 16, 24, and 48. My room was exacty 112 square feet plus 9+ square feet in a closet. I bought 4 boxes @ 31 square feet (124 sq. ft.). The large number of 18 inch pieces created some problem because on average I had to use 2+ in each row and to stagger had to place quite a few in center areas of room. Not a problem in a small room but I think it would be noticeable in a larger room. I was able to complete 112 square feet in the room and left with just 18 inch lengths - enough to do 6.5 square feet of closet (I pieced in some pieces of maple in the back of the closet to complete). So, less than 5% waste overall but my closet is done with all 18 inch pieces (staggered). During install, I questioned employee at Lumber Liquidators regarding the inordinate number of short pieces and he had no answer. If you look at the pictures (Tobacco Road Acacia) on their website you do not see any short pieces in the center area of their floor. It is very unusual to have to do so. In conclusion, if you have a smaller room there is very little waste, a lot of planning for each row, easy install, and beautiful results. If you have a larger/open area I think you will need to buy extra flooring and end up with a lot of extra 18 inch pieces.

My fiance and I decided to install this floor into our first home. With the help of my brother and friend we put this floor in with ease for first time installers. Very simple to install. We have a 75lbs dog and the floor is very durable. The color variation and grain hide blemishes very well. Beautiful floor that we'll cherish for a long time.

can i use a steam mop to do basic cleaning along with the bella cleaner?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Lumber Liquidators does not recommend "Water brooms" "Wet-Jet Swiffers or steamer type cleaners on laminates, corks or hardwood floors. Although steamers may work well cleaning OTHER types of hard surface flooring, the 130° to 240° heated steam vapor can ruin wood or urethane finish resulting in warped or cupped flooring. Water and wood do not mix well, especially steam. Use these products at your own risk.Q:

Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. CAN THE ENGINEERED QUICK CLICK ACACIA FLOORING BE REFINISHED IF NEEDED LATER ON1 answer
A:
Full refinishing will take slightly under a 1/32” off the veneer of the wood flooring. The thickness of the veneer and how much wear and dents a floor has will determine how many times it can be refinished. Solid hardwood that is ¾” thick may be refinished 4 to 7 or more times depending on how much wood was taken off on each refinishing. Low profile solid wood flooring like 5/16” thick flooring may be able to be refinished twice if the flooring is in good shape. Engineered flooring with a 1/8” wear layer or more will be able to be refinished at least once. If the engineered product has a 1/16” wear layer a professional sander may be able to refinish it, but many won’t take the chance in case they make a mistake and take too much off the wear layer. We recommend that hardwood floor refinishing be done by a professional and if your not sure if you can refinish your flooring have professional sand and finish expert come to your home and evaluate your flooring.
