Comments about African Mahogany Laminate Quarter Round:

There is no coating on the Quarter Round like on the floor, but thats so you can use thin nails to secure it. It is thicker than what you get at the local home store so it is more forgiving with an imperfect cut. It looks great and is easier than trying to stain trim to match.

                          Service and delivery comments:

I went right to the store and picked it up without even calling ahead of time to see if it was in stock.

                              A:

An undercut saw or jamb saw is used to cut away the bottom of the door jambs to allow the floor to slide underneath. These are available in electric and hand held manual styles, if you have more than 2 sets of jambs I would suggest renting an electric saw from your local tool rental co.
You can use a manual laminate cutter or you can use a table saw, chop saw, etc... for the cuts.

These spacers are ridged wedges that when you put two together can adjust 1/4" to 1/2".

The spacers arer used at the wall so you can maintain your expansion space. The undercut saw is used to saw off the bottom of the door casings so the flooring can slide under. A soft rubber tip mallet is always helpful in any hardwood, Engineered, or laminate floor installation.
