Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Amber Oak:
I have had this floor in my living room and dining room for 4 years and it looks like the day it was installed. I then installed it in the family room almost 2 years ago I have 2 small children and a dog and these floors are still shiny and look new.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Amber Oak:
Many off-size and too bowed to install. As much as 1/8" variation in widths of the face of the boards. Not sure what the machine operator measured with when setting up to run this stuff. Finish is quite thin. Allow for plenty of scrap, 7-10% at least just for defects, 3.69 is more like 4.50 / sqft. It is so funny: big split pieces of flooring with finish down in the crack or big gnarly knots, pre-finished! I give it a C-. Get the good stuff.

Where is there specific instructions for installation? This is a nail down only installation and I do not see any information of nail type, spacing, underlayment options (or is the plywood deck what the wood flooring sits on?), etc. The one link given in another answer does not get to any nail down instructions for this product or manufacturer.1 answer
A:
You can find complete installation instructions on the product page by clicking on the specs tab and then clicking on - Installation Guide.pdfQ:
are the boards of a uniform width? this is important for me, since we plan a do-it-yourself installation and different widths would make it much harder.1 answer
A:
When ordering this material you want to add about 10% more material for waste. With solid wood natural flooring you may encounter boards that are slightly wider or thicker, but it should not be more than 10% of the material. When you receive the flooring make sure it is acclimated in the room of installation for a least a week before installation, so it can adjust to your climate. For best results keep the home at a consistent temperature and humidity level, ideally between 60F to 80F with humidity between 30% and 50%.Q:
What is the best way to clean this flooring? Can it be damp mopped for sticky spills?1 answer
A:
For sticky spot cleaning you can use a damp cloth and follow up with a dry towel.Q:
What is the length of the boards.1 answer
A:
This is a random length natural grade wood product, lengths will range form 1' to 7'.Q:
Does amber oak have a satin finish? Does it have a beveled edge? Thank you.1 answer
