Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2 1/4" American Walnut:
The flooring looks gorgeous. We love the variability of the color from very dark to blonde. We did not install ourselves, but our contractor seemed to have no problem with the install. He did mention to be careful with it as it does seem to scratch and dent easily. Sure enough, the finish does seem to scratch off rather easily. We have this flooring in the kitchen and I dropped some kitchen sheers onto the floor and it put about an 1/8th of an inch dent/gouge. We had oak flooring before that took beatings like that without a dent or scratch. I checked the hardness rating of American walnut, and it is around 1000, where as white oak is about 1350. Not sure if we would have picked something different at this point because we really love the look of it, but other buyers may want to keep this out of high traffic areas.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2 1/4" American Walnut:
Floor looks very beautiful. Installed 800 sq. feet through main living area (kitchen, entry, hallway.) Definitely a soft wood. Dropping anything results in scratches and dents. Would recommend not using in such a high traffic area. Also, wish I would have spent extra for the wider planks but even the thinner planks are nice.
Service and delivery comments:
