Q:
Does the metal track come with the trim? How do we install the track over the poly, and foam, can we glue it to concrete or what?
Also, entry way of home is cermac tile, and the rest is concrete, I want to install the laminate (angle fire) above the tile and concrete, so at the transition they will be two different hieghts slightly. What transition for laminates at different heihgts to maintain the expanison gap?

  A:
  Does the metal track come with the trim? How do we install the track over the poly, and foam, can we glue it to concrete or what?
  
  Answer) Yes. Laminate T-molding needs to be installed in the provided U-Track after a proper fastening. U-Track generally fastens to wood subfloor with wood screws, for concrete subfloor use "Tapcon" concrete screws and/or appropriate Liquid Nail. Masonry bit required. This can also be fastened with screws and a rawel plug (concrete wall plug). Molding then pushes and attaches to U-Track much like a zip-lock bag.

Q:
I have 4 different types of transitions where I'm installing the new laminate floor. One is to a tile floor which is almost perfectly level with the height of the laminate + underlayment. I'm pretty confident the T molding is the right choice for this one. I also have one to carpet at a bedroom doorway. Should this be a t molding or a reducer? The carpet + padding is higher than the laminate. I also have a tile transition around a fireplace. The tile is still level with the laminate here as well. Should this be t molding or reducer? My last transition is at an exterior door which has a chrome threshold. What should I use in this location? Thanks.
