Morning Star Bamboo Flooring creates a naturally beautiful and ecologically friendly product that evokes a feeling of luxury.

- Low Emission Adhesive
- Nail/Glue Installation
- Premium Finish
- 50 Year Warranty

Strand

Twice as hard as oak, strand bamboo is an optimal choice for busy homes when durability is needed to stand up to the wear and tear of family foot traffic, active kids and even pets.

To make strand bamboo, shredded bamboo fibers are compressed under extreme heat and pressure.  This manufacturing process yields flooring that is even harder and more dense than traditional bamboo floors. Available in a variety of colors to complement and décor, all Morning Star strand bamboo products are finished with premium coating and backed by a 50 year warranty.

And, since bamboo is a naturally sustainable grass that re-grows spontaneously after harvest, you can feel good about making an environmentally friendly flooring decision.

It's simple...
Eco-Friendly. Beautiful look. Beautiful price.

What is recomended for cleaning thus bamboo wood flooring

      A:

We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. In addition, we do not recommend using steamers or wet-jet cleaning systems for hardwood because spraying can collect moisture in between board edges. The use of these products is at your own risk. Thank you for your inquiry.

      A:

      DURABILITY
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.

  • Q:

Is this flooring recommended for kitchen and bathrooms?

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

      Kitchens; yes.
Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring, cork or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our engineered, porcelain, or vinyl products that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.

Asked on 4/1/2016 by Joe from Buffalo

      A:

Solid bamboo products are not classified as composite wood products and are currently not required to comply with existing CARB regulations for formaldehyde.
While not subject to current CARB regulations, consistent with our commitment to product quality and safety, Lumber Liquidators has established formaldehyde emission specifications for our solid bamboo products and maintains a comprehensive compliance management and testing process to verify our solid bamboo products are safe and comply with our rigorous internal product standards.
This is a product of China, as all bamboo flooring is sourced from there.
