What I would recommend is finding a Lumber Liquidators that is local to you that has this product in stock so you can see it before ordering.Q:

Ash is a little more durable to denting than white oak and red oak because it has a higher janka hardness rating. The finish on the Bellawood Ash is the same as what is on the Bellawood oak flooring, so the finish would have equal durability between them.
