Comments about Virginia Mill Works 3/8" x 5" Bahia Barra Jatoba Engineered:
We could not be happier with our new floors. They clean so easily and look beautiful at all times. We have three small kids and they are very hard on floors but so far not scratches. I also use the Bellawood floor cleaner it is the best does not leave streaks and instantly makes the floor look brand new. Would totally recommend!

We have 70 lbs dog and we've had the floors for four months. So far the floors have held up, which is why we purchased this product. As you will read in the specifications, it has a very high Janka rating.

Q:
I have 3 dogs and always have accidents...is this wood advisable for pet owners? does it get scratch easily?1 answer
A:
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.Q:
Can this floor be used in the bathroom? Will there be any moisture issues?1 answer
A:
Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
what is the wight of hte surface layer above plywood.1 answer
A:
This Virginia Mill Works 3/8" x 5" Bahia Barra Jatoba engineered product has a 2mm wearlayer .Q:

A:
I apologize that we do not (as of yet) carry a matching threshold.Q:
Can this flooring be floated without using glue? It will be put over concrete.1 answer
A:
In order to float this floor you will need to use a tongue and groove adhesive to adhere the boards to each other.Q:
I was looking at purchasing your product, but I wanted to know which type of wood (Solid Wood or Engineered Hardwood) would last longer/hold up to my two english bulldogs.1 answer

I would go with a solid because when it does get scratched up it can be re sanded.Q:

This product has a unique color you will get the redish brown and darker brown tones.Q:
