Q:
We have a 3/4 inch sub floor at the top of the stairs and want to install the stair nosing but the nosing is not long enough to cover the entire sub floor. What would you reccommend?

  A:
  Cut overlap of the subfloor to fit flush with the riser of the step. Then install nose.
