Comments about Beech Laminate Quarter Round:
I would recommend this to a friend with a strong word of caution. If the quarter round is at all warped, it makes it difficult to glue down (leaning it against the wall warps it). I was tempted just to nail it down (ignoring the directions to glue it) but this technique was used in my last apartment and the particle board became separated from the veneer. Also, finding ways to keep it secure to the wall and the floor until the glues dries is tricky.

Q:
how do I know how much quarter round I need? I need 345 sq ft of flooring?1 answer
A:
To figure out how much quarter round you need you can use a tape measure and add up the linear feet. For example if you had a 10 x 10 room with no doorways you will need a little over 40lf of shoe molding. 10 + 10+10+10 = 40lf you have to add a little extra for waste so you may get 50lf. For 345 sqft you will need approximately 100 sqft of shoe molding.
