Good product for economical residential remodel. Only con was that a few boards had warping at the edges; you need to check carefully before you actually install the board in line.
Service and delivery comments:
Very good service and delivery within timeframe quoted.

Used this in a basement studio over vapor barrier and underlayment. It looks good, and the wide width boards go down fast. The boards are relatively brittle, and the tongues can break off pretty easily if you are not careful. The biggest complaint I had was the condition of some of the packages of the boards when I went to pick up the order, a high percentage of the boards (ends/corners) were damaged in the package from rough handling. I would recommend checking each package carefully when picking up boards and rejecting any that are damaged. However, I purchased these on sale and they were so inexpensive, I accepted most of the boxes anyway!

I have several rentals and tenants are notorious for damage. This product looks great. Installs tight and easy. Durability is yet to be seen.

The floor was exactly what I paid for. I was looking for an inexpensive floor to replace the carpet I had in the basement. The laminate looks great, however the interlocking edges are very flimsy so you have to be careful when installing. They easily break off if you are not careful. The worst part of the whole experience was needing to wait almost 3 hours to pick up the flooring.

I used this in my two spare rooms. I liked it before I put it down. Once it was done It is awsome!! The color ,the wood grain, all of it. Now I'm thinking about doing the entire house with this flooring. Once it's down it's so much lighter than it looks in the box.

This floor was the look I wanted for our home. I love the wide plank style, and I know that it takes less time to cover such a large area (400 s/f) versus thinner planks. The color is great, will hide dirt and debris well and is very neutral and matches our home. We used an OSB subfloor, and 10.00 foam underlayment, and with all of that, the floor is great. No loud noises when you walk on it, no echo, all smoothe and solid. Very happy so far :) For the amount we paid, (little over 200.00 for 400 s/f) I couldn't be happier!

Q:
Does this flooring scratch easily. We have kids and dog.lol.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Laminate flooring can be very durable and scratch resistant. However overall durability can vary between the rooms installed and the type of laminate purchased. Generally laminate flooring with a higher warranty and thicker profile will hold up best. Thicker and higher warranty equals better overall performance.Q:
Can I put this flooring be used in the kitchen?1 answer
A:
Yes you can!Q:
Can this product be used on ceilings?1 answer
A:
For helpful tips & instructions; Please go to our http://www.lumberliquidators.com//brands/brands.jsp?brandName=WallsCeilings,Q:
is this product water resistant and is it ideal to put on top of concrete basement floor1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes floating laminate flooring is ideal over concrete subfloor that is flat and level with no more variance than 3/16" in 10' or 1/8" in 6'. A 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below Grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4-6" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Then lay an approved underlayment for floating flooring. Foam Underlayment, Eco Silent Sound, Bellawood Premium Underlayment, or Quiet Walk underlayment for floating floors.Q:
Can this be used in a bathroom?1 answer
A:
Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
I plan on installing a 6mm Black Forest Oak in a 3 season sunroom. I will be laying it over an exsisting indoor/outdoor carpet. Do you recommend that I use a moisture barrier?1 answer
A:
Unfortunately not, any carpet will have to be removed because it offers no moisture protection or support to the locking system..Q:
What under lament do you need if you go from wood foor under laminant we would like to go from old old wood to laminant and how much under lament would we need for 1000 sqf thanks1 answer
A:
Thank you for writing in! I would be glad to help you with your questions.Q:
what can i use to clean this type of flooring1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. In addition, we do not recommend using steamers or wet-jet cleaning systems for hardwood because spraying can collect moisture in between board edges. The use of these products is at your own risk.Q:
I am considering installing in my garage can I glue down the vinyl floor for more stability1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This is a laminate flooring, not vinyl, and cannot be glued to any subfloor. Peel and Stick Tranquillity Vinyl may be.Q:
Can I install this flooring over an existing 13" X 13" ceramic tiled floor? I'm concerned the slight variation in heights of ceramic tiles will be visible over time.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Tile needs to be flat and level in order to float laminate flooring over.
