Floor was installed over 3 months ago and the product is still off-gassing badly. The smell is so strong that everyone immediately comments about the odd smell when they enter our house. I am really worried about this product because we have been getting bad headaches when we sleep at this property, but not when we sleep at our other house, or when we travel.
Just put it down. I can't give much feedback yet other than it looks great. We'll see how it holds up in a rental.

Really nice looking floor for the money and very strong considering its thickness. I would only use staple install as we tried cleats in one room and cracked a lot of boards.

We put this product in our Formal Dining Room/Library area. It is the first room that people see when they enter the house and they are ALWAYS saying how nice it looks. We have another Lumber Liquidators Black Laminate in our Living Room (which I also love), but I really like the handscraped look of this bamboo product.
We installed this floor in every room except the bedrooms. It looks really nice it just shows everything so you have to keep it clean, but it's not that bad. It does not scratch easily as that is the purpose of Bamboo, it is a tougher wood.
We installed this in our living room and hallway and will be doing our bedroom and son's bedroom next. The black floors give our house a more updated and modern feel. I love it! I have not seen any scratches so far and we have a very active toddler. We are very happy we chose this product for our home.

Is this flooring hard enough for tap dancing? If not, what inexpensive flooring do you suggest?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
It may be hard enough however it has a hand-scraped texture and may not be the best choice. A flatter laminate may work, however I have read that tap shoes can be a bit slippery on laminate flooring as well as not sounding very good. Solid hardwood or our Dura-Dance floors might be an option. Our hardwood flooring has great sales you may be able to take advantage of.
