Installation was easy. Manufacture needs better to have better inspection of product. Had to trim backing off several pieces found flaws in product also. Glad I purchased extra box.

After opening 6 boxes and inter-mixing all of the pieces, I started installing the flooring. About 1/4 of the way through the install, I couldn't get the gap between the boards to tighten up. I checked the plank and the ends were NOT routed square, whice was causing the gap! The next plank I tried to install had the same problem. I finally found a plank that was square so I could continue. My suggestion would be to check each piece as you remove them from the box for squareness. I hope I calculated enough waste to account for the planks I can't use. Now that I've intermixed all of the planks, it would be hard to know which lot number had the problem.

We are very happy with the floor. The contractor we had install it was pleasantly surprised with the quality and price and the ease of installation. He talked about installing it in his home as well!

I love how this looks other than the fact that this products was AWFUL for chips!!! It did not matter how careful we were, I am still finding corners that chipped! I would not put this down again, and I would actually ask for a replacement if LL actually did that. Pretty ridiculous.

Love the look of my new laminate floor. The color of Blacksburg barn is beautiful. Was easy to install. Would love to do my living room in the near future. Will write another review after seeing how durable it is, just put it down and this is the first time we have used.
Service and delivery comments:
Ordered from lumber liquidators website they called in less than a week and said my order was ready for pick-up. Even added trim and installation kit at that time, picked up next day everything was ready. Very pleased with the service and the product will definitely purchase from in the future.

Can you use a steam mop with this flooring?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. In addition, we do not recommend using steamers or wet-jet cleaning systems for hardwood because spraying can collect moisture in between board edges. The use of these products is at your own risk.Q:
Is it safe to use Swiffer cleaner on this flooring?1 answer
A:
We do not recommend the wet jet swifter because of the fact it could potentially spray out to much solution onto the wood flooring. This could create issues with MDF and HDF core products if to much solution were to get into the seams. This can create swelling or raised seams in laminates. On our Bellawood cleaner and laminate cleaner bottles we have instructions on the label to spray the cleaner onto the cloth and not the floor. This allows the cloth to absorb the moisture and not the floor absorb the moisture. A light damp cloth is all that is needed no dripping water or sprayed cleaner on the floor.Q:
Do I have to remove baseboard before installing this laminate?1 answer

I just bought 1,000 square feet of 12 mm Blacksburg Barn Board laminate for a basement concrete floor application. I also purchased the Quiet Walk underlayment at the salesman's recommendation as we are concerned about a "cold floor". I am now reading the LL website and it seems that the 6 mil poly sheeting is recommended over the concrete slab. Is it OK to use both poly and Quiet Walk products under this laminate floor or do I need to choose only one?1 answer

This flooring needs no padded underlayment because it has attached padding. A 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below Grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Then lay approved underlayment if wanted.Q:

How do I keep the floor from hazing or streaking when cleaning? Have used the Bellawood product suggested by retailer.1 answer

Our Bellawood floor cleaner does not contain any polishes ,wax or anything that will build on the surface and is recommended to be used on all our flooring products. I do hear of this scenario often enough and it always prooves out that there was another cleaning product used previously on the floor that is reacting to the Bellawood cleaner. Most likely once the residue is removed from the original factory finish the floor can be maintained easily. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
