These floors are absolutely perfect! We have kids and animals and high-traffic areas so we wanted something that could withstand all of our elements. The floors are thick enough to cover any imperfections in your subflooring and do not warp with anything spilled on the floor. Also they are a better quality than the thinner laminates and the locks snap together easily and are durable. We couldn't asked for better flooring, they are gorgeous in our living room, we get nothing but great comments about them!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

With two dear friends' help we installed this flooring to replace 9 year old carpet that had seen its better days after having my son's dog the past 3 years. It really looks great. Roger had installed several laminate floors in his own house and another friends and said this was the easiest he'd ever done. I did the living area, office and hallway. My next project will be the bedrooms and I think I'll be able to do it myself now that I've seen how it is done and helped with this installation. The main thing is to have someone stand on the part you've already done as you go along to keep from pulling it apart.
It held up very well to the dog with no scratches.

It measures slightly over 1/2" wide x 5/16' tall.Q:
We have laminate flooring going in one direction in our pantry and plan to put the laminate in the dining/kitchen in another direction. The concrete between the two rooms are slightly uneven. How to we apply the end cap w/track? Does it go on top of the latminate or up next to the laminate in both rooms?1 answer
A:
If there is a slight height difference between the two floors it would be best to use a laminate T-molding. The track will be glued or screwed to the concrete and the T-molding will snap into the track. The end cap works great if you were butting one side up to a fixed object like ceramic tile, carpet, or a door frame.
