The only product that we carry that is rated for exterior use is Mapei 10027722 High-Performance Concrete Patch 25lbs
QUICKPATCH is an indoor/outdoor rated patching and leveling product so it is perfect for use in high moisture situations.
If you used it outside SL150 will fail.

Plywood subfloor would need to be sturdy and not flex.

  • Q:

can I use this to level a low spot in a wood sub floor before nailing down a solid hardwood floor
Asked on 2/23/2014 by bill from Middletown, DE

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

No. Subfloor for solid hardwood or naildown engineered needs to be within 3/16" in 10’ or 1/8" in 6' variance. Options are Sand high areas or joints, use wood shims wedged between joists and the subfloor to raise it. Protruding nails/staples should be ground flat. Build-up low spots with layers of 15 lb builders felt, old vinyl, plywood or shims (do not use cement leveling compounds).
