Comments about Bostik Ultimate Urethane Remover:

This product works. I glued our family room down with the bostik floor adhesive. Had many, many glue "fingerprints" all over the floor and was very concerned. Did some research and tried Mineral Spirits with not much luck. Purchased the bostik remover and it took the glue right off. Some of the harder ones, had to leave the remover on the glue for a minute or two. Some spots had to repeat but generally one shot and done. Finger prints came right off.

When cleaning vinyl, like golf cart seats, apply with thin scrub mild abrasive material, wipe off with wet cloth, and then apply a good leather protector.

      Works wonders on Urethane glue

Comments about Bostik Ultimate Urethane Remover:

This Bostick Ultimate Urethane Remover works great. Our installers spilled many spots of glue on our floors and lots more on our stairs. We were very unhappy and decided to test a spot with the Remover. It worked great at removing the glue, but you might have to scrape the glue a little bit with your finger nail or a credit card. It does have quite an odor, so we cleaned the Remover off with the Bellawood Cleaner afterwards.

Did a great job on removing glue spots after installation of engineered HW floors.
Do not wipe all floors as it leaves a film which requires a lot of work to remove.
After applying on affected areas leave 20-30 minutes before removing it.

I installed 130 ft of flooring using bostik seal and grip glue. I wiped floors down with mineral spirits, but found that while it removed globs of glue, little outline were left all over the floor where the glue had been. This left the floor looking terrible. I tried more mineral spirits and other glue/adhesive remover. Finally tried this stuff and it worked great. Removed everything, even 3 months later. good stuff!

It could but probably will not remove the "cured" varnish.
Anything that will "dissolve" the varnish may affect the finish of your hardwood flooring.

Using a damp cloth with a little dish soap and warm water should do the trick. After it dries go back over with a clean damp cloth let dry and then use the Bellawood cleaner.

Sometimes a full sanding and refinishing will work. However if the stain is too deep into the grain, replacing may be necessary. Suggest contacting a professional refinisher.
