A Floor so Special, Home Sellers mention it by Name. When selling a home, unique features come first. And the name "Bellawood" can be found at the top of sellers' lists again and again. Couple that with a Certified 100 Year Transferable Warranty and it's certain to catch the eye of discerning buyers when the time comes. Brazilian Cherry is one of our most popular woods because of its ideal balance of rich beauty and proven durability. Its majestic colors range from a yellowish tan to reddish brown when just milled, and it deepens significantly to an exquisite deep cherry brown as it ages. For spaces that demand durability year after year, residential or commercial, Brazilian Cherry is an excellent flooring choice. About "Select Grade" Flooring It Taber Tested "the Best." When subjected to the industry sandpaper abrasion test, known as Taber Testing, Bellawood's durability results were more than double most comparably priced floors. There's good, there's better—and then there's Bellawood.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Brazilian Cherry:
Installed in a 166sqft living room and very happy with outcome.
Service and delivery comments:
This was my first purchase from Lumber Liquidators and overall it was a good experience. However there is some room for improvement:
1. My local store was out of stock and I had to drive 80miles roundtrip to pick up the flooring.
2. The store I had to travel to couldn't have been more difficult to find even with GPS.
3. The 20% restocking fee seems draconian.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Brazilian Cherry:
The floor is so beautiful. I almost wish it wouldn't darken because I love it as is. But, you have to be careful. We hired an installer and he screwed up some boards, had to rent a gun, and generally was sloppy. So make sure they've worked with such a hard wood before.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Brazilian Cherry:
We stalled this flooring in our great room at our lake home. We have small grandchildren and some sand from the beach. This floor scratch immediately from kids' toys, furniture (even though we have pads on them) but the sand doesn't seem to bother it. Very unhappy with this product and will NOT use it again. Some of the boards we're of poor quality and almost warped which made installation a challenge.
Service and delivery comments:
We ordered this flooring and picked it up ourselves at a location 45 miles one way from our place. We bought 11 boxes and when we started laying the flooring, we discovered 2 boxes were labled Brazilian cherry but were clearly something much different. They were very good about getting the correct boxes to us in a time frame that worked for us. (we're only here certain times.) So, despite the error, they corrected it after a few phone calls.

I've fallen in love with this product! It's been installed in my stairwell landing for over a year and still looks as beautiful as the day it was installed. My goal is to install it throughout the rest of my home, when financially feasible.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Brazilian Cherry:
Boards seem slightly narrower than existing 3" boards. But I think they are different manufacturers. As a result I have some gapping, but the look beautiful an a little wood filler takes care of the minor issue.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Brazilian Cherry:
This was my first time to put down flooring. I stapled 2200 square feet on the entire first floor of our home other than the laundry room. It was easy to install using a power stapler. The finish is hard and works great other than if you drop something hard or sharp on it it may leave a small dent. We are looking at replacing the upstairs carpet with this flooring. Everyone who sees it comments on the great look it has.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Brazilian Cherry:
I had this product installed. I didn't do it myself. The floor turned out beautiful but the glue required by the manufacturer is very expensive. This product would be good in any room however and it is very beautiful.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Brazilian Cherry:
I installed this floor in the kitchen in a house I am trying to sell. I chose the 3/8" thickness to closely match the height of the neighboring oak floors in the living room. The height was perfect but working with the 3/8" thickness was challenging. At this thickness you might be tempted to use a stapler to install the floors but the stapler is not powerful enough to drive through the solid cherry hardwood. I used 18 gauge 1.5" cleats. The problem was that the tongue was so thin that on many boards, the nail split the tongue. We soon recognized that the darker boards were denser and were more prone to splitting so we wound up predrilling and nailing those by hand with finish nails. It was tedious work. Obviously I'm not a professional but just thought I would share my experience. Once finished however, the floors looked fantastic.
Service and delivery comments:
I picked up the flooring at the lumberliquidators in Raleigh NC. They were very helpful. Pickup was a bit slow though because they were loading up another customer and then I had to wait for them to dig through stacks of flooring to find my 3/8" cherry. In one instance I waited over an hour and wound up helping them hand load 750 SQFT into someone's pickup truck to speed up the process.

Several of the boards had water damage to them, under the finish. Other then that this was an awesome product and looks great in our home and was easy to instal!
