Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Brazilian Ebony:
It came down to a hand scrape or Ebony and my wife wanted Ebony. The floor is the hardest wood I have ever seen. 10,000 times harder than Oak. The floor is absolutely beautiful! However kids that walks and sweats and goes barefoot it shows every smudge known to man. ( Footprints) It cleans easy but you are always cleaning because of the high gloss finish.
The hand scraped I think would be better as low gloss shows o smudges. Plus any scratch would enhance the finish. at half the cost I would go hand scrape. I do get tons of complements but it is a lot of work keeping it clean. It is hard to install as the wood is so hard. Get plenty of saw blades and keep your staple gun tuned in just right or you will crack the tongue while installing it. Air pressure has to be perfect as it is the hardest wood I have ever seen. You can drop anything in it and it is hard to dent.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Brazilian Ebony:
We hired a professional to install this flooring in our living room and bedrooms. We love the look and color of the flooring. The floor has sustained a couple scratches already but I'm told it's nothing compared to other hardwood floors. Our piano also left indents in the floor when we rolled it back into place. Now we have large, round floor protectors under the wheels and haven't had any further issues. I'm very satisfied.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Brazilian Ebony:
This flooring is the best looking and most durable flooring sold by Lumber Liquidators. This floor is very, very hard wood and was difficult to install and get the nail gun and nails adjusted so tonge wood not split and nails would seat. This floor is great looking and will take a punishment. Slide a Piano accross the room and no dents. I recommend but need to address with installer that can install and is willing to hand drill and not face nail in the tight areas. I recommend this flooring because of its beauty and durability.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Brazilian Ebony:
My wife made me do it. I fought for a bit, but then I saw the flooring and loved it. The prep work to install was the hardest part ( ripping up sub flooring, getting around cabinets). Installing the floor was a breeze, it was work but not difficult. I love the out come. More important so does my wife.
