This flooring gives an incredible first impression when entering a home!We love the striping and depth of colors you get from the Brazilian Koa. We installed the 3/4" thick wood that is 3 1/2" wide. It looks just GREAT! We did all of our 1st floor except the master bed-rm. (Hopefully in the future that too will be hardwood)... & now we are just SOLD on the quality of The Bellawood brand. We had done lots of research before making this purchase. Our installation was done by the recommended pros by Lumber Liquidators. After making this large investment we decided to leave it to the professionals. No regrets there! The most difficult thing was moving all of our furniture & getting ready for the installation. ---We were told this wood darkens a little naturally with age, so not to put down rugs for 6-9 months. --- After the installation we also added furniture felt pads under all of our furniture! ([...] had a great selection of these pads.) We are trying to protect from scratches as much as possible. So far so good! We LOVE our new floors!!!!
I love this floor! It is hard for me to keep clean because we have the entire upstairs (living room, family room, hallway and kitchen)to keep up with along with two large sloppy dogs. The color is just awesome. We can't stop staring at it because each piece has it's own character. When installing pay close attention because some of the pieces were thinner or thicker than others. I'm sure this is true for anyone prefinished hardwood floor. If you have large dogs you probably will get some scratches. I have been keeping their nails cut back and there are still visible scratches in just a matter of weeks. All in all I am very happy. [...]Two thumbs up!

Q:Is the flooring reusable? Meaning if it was laid down for a special event, then pulled up and reused again a few months later, is this possible without ruining the flooring itself?
A:Please call our Tech and Installation Dept. @ (800) 366-4204 for a detailed answer to your question. Thank you for your inquiry.
Q:I looking for something that can be used in my backyard as a patio deck. I live in the High Desert & I was wondering what would I have to do or if it is possible for me to something like this? My yard is not landscaped, it is just flat sand (hardpacked dirt)
A:All of our flooring products are designed and recommended for interior use only.
Q:can this floor be used in a bathroom and can it be mopped daily
A:Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.
Q:I have bought Charisma Plus six month ago, just tried to install now. The problem is the locking system. If I lock it length wise they I could not lock it width wise and vice versa even I tapped from the sides. I could never install the laminated floor. My investment is wasted, I would rather buy carpet.Someone can help me how to install, I can not pay for the labor so I want to install myself.
A:Please contact me directly and I would be glad to answer any of your installation questions.
Q:can this tile work in a daycare center for children, it has to be mopped often?
A:Wet mopping is not recommended for any laminate flooring.
Q:Could we paint yardlines and an end zone on this floor to give the appearance of a football field?
A:It has been done before but would not last long and may not stick well.
Q:Do you think this flooring would work well in a laundry/mud room, the only time water would get on it would be if something went wrong with the washer.
A:Laminate floor and water are not friends. There are no sealers that will ever make this type of floor completely waterproof as it is impossible to seal every crack. Water always finds a crack and spending time and money applying a sealer might give you a false sense of protection that is not really there. The better option might be to simply consider a waterproof mat application in areas you are concerned with, and quickly dry the floor anytime it does get wet. You may also consider one of our vinyl floors for these areas. Please feel free to contact our product specialists at 1-800-476-0007 with any additional questions or to further discuss your project.
Q:I want to put this in my basement (concrete floor)I have a sump pump installed just in case of flooding, is this vinyl going to hold up under an inch of water? If not please recommend a floor product that I could use instead.
A:Due to the possibility of flooding; i would not recommend this laminate product for this application, I would suggest our 4mm click together vinyl Tranquility products that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.
Q:we are thinking about this floor for a sports themed man cave family room. do we need to add extra finish to the top to prevent it from being scraped? we have a dog and will be using the room frequently. thanks
A:This product cannot be top coated (won't stick).
Q:I have a wall with a door that has an aluminum jam. The jam is flush with the wall and it does not transition; so in other words, the laminate flooring, when installed, would be 1/4" from the jam with no way to trim it out--leaving an exposed gap. The current flooring is carpet with vinyl at the doorway. I plan on installing laminate with the 9/16" baseboard trim. There is no way to put the floor under the jam per the installation guide.
A:You got it figured right.
