What makes Bellawood so Unique? We carefully hand select each species from regions across the globe that are known to produce denser woods and that exemplify the species' finest qualities. That's why we say, "It's more than hardwood. It's Bellawood." Few species surpass the hardness and durability of Brazilian Walnut. And when coupled with its timeless beauty, it's truly a treasure among floors. Its captivating chocolate browns and soft tans liven up any décor, contemporary or traditional. And its mostly straight grain occasionally gives way to stunning waves and dark striping, adding unrivaled character to your home. About "Select Grade" Flooring It Taber Tested "the Best." When subjected to the industry sandpaper abrasion test, known as Taber Testing, Bellawood's durability results were more than double most comparably priced floors. There's good, there's better—and then there's Bellawood.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Brazilian Walnut:
We installed this flooring in a 26 x 18 sq ft family room, and it looks awesome. The varying color blends of the Brazilian Walnut work perfectly with the entire room. It is very dusty when you cut the wood, so wear a mask and set up some type of airflow out of the room. It is an extremely hard wood, so sometimes you need to pre-drill the nail holes when you have to face nail near the walls. Great product!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Brazilian Walnut:
I absolutely love the Brazilian Walnut flooring.
Our biggest concern was how pet friendly it would be. (Rottie and Boxer). It has been 3+years and the dogs have left no marks. They look beautiful. We had a professional install the bedroom and hallway, but my husband and I installed the closets.
Service and delivery comments:
As novice installers we found everyone that we have dealt with to be extremely hellpful and willing to spend time with us.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Brazilian Walnut:
Make sure you do your homework on the best tools to install this particular species of wood flooring. This is exceptionally HARD wood. Definitely download the Bellawood solid wood instruction pdf. Take the time to read it thoroughly. Buy some extra carbon tipped blades for your chop saw. Predrill holes where it applies. Awesome results. We did our entire house except the kitchen and baths (just our personal choice). Make sure you order all the batch# and date manufactured so you don't run into problems with different widths. Good Luck

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Brazilian Walnut:
In the end, the result is stunningly nice with brilliant color variation and a great finish. Overall, we are extremely happy with the finished product. However, the intallation was frustrating due to the random widths that ranged between 4-13/16" to 5". This is the reduction of a star in our rating. The widths would be what I would expect in an odd lot as opposed to a select batch. Anyway, with the varying widths, these heavy, dense boards were shuffled around matching up widths which increased the labor dramatically. For the installation tool of choice, we used a Bostich Finish Stapler w/ 2" staples. This worked very well with only an occasional tongue split. Also, expect to go through some saw blades cutting this hard finish.
Service and delivery comments:
The employees at the Wichita store were very helpful. A+ on customer service. The delivery time was a couple days later than expected, however, we had plenty of prep work ahead of the delivery that it didn't really bother us.

We are installing this throughout our home, one room at a time. Everyone who comes in raves about the beautiful flooring. The wood is warm; the colors are random; the grain is gorgeous. I can't say enough about how happy we are with Bella's Brazilian Walnut.

Width varied from 4-13/16 to 5. This made it extremly difficult to install
I installed the same product in the same house a month earlier and had no problems. I think the latter order was just a bad batch. I recommend you verify the batch and run time to help with consistancy. After I was 1/2 way done with the job I dicovered the boxes were from the same mill. However, six months difference in the production date. I was dissatisfied and pulling my hair out to say the least.
