I put this in a bedroom. I used the same wood in another bedroom 3 1/2 years ago. same square footage the flooring 3 1/2 years ago had only 1 single piece that had a bad knot. other than that everything was square and true and easy to install. this time there is many warped and split pieces. and the color is extremely different. i ended up needing a complete extra box of wood on this room over the other room. but i think it is still better flooring compared to other places wood flooring can be purchased.

The look was exactly how we perceved it would be from the samples and website. The sales clerks were very friendly and helpful.

The floors were easy to install and the result is great! The floors are easy to clean. I was disappointed the wider planks were no longer available- but I am extremely happy with the color and quality of the flooring.

This was used in the Master bedroom. I like the color and finish of this product. The installation was done by Grayson Homes. The installers were timely and professional.

We purchased this wood to try to match the color of pre-existing wood in other rooms in our house. It's a 95% match. The existing wooden floors are five or six years older so we did not expect a perfect match. This wood has more of a matte finish whereas the older wood is a bit more glossy, but it's OK. With a 25 year warranty, we're fine with our purchase. We had it professionally installed.

All refinished flooring requires climate controlled buildings for installation. Urethane finish can't handle the dimensional changes that take place with extreme environmental shifts, HOWEVER you can use an unfinished hardwood (preferably quarter/rift sawn) finished with tung or other natural oils as with covered porch flooring. These site finished penetrating sealers expand and contract with the flooring without cracking.Q:

Unfortunately this factory stain is not available in a can for retail sale. I would recommend bringing a scrap piece of the flooring (and a piece of the wood molding you will be staining) to a paint store and they should be able to match the stain for you. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:

The Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Butter Rum Oak is only recommended for a nail down installation. To install this product over a slab you will either have to build up a floating plywood system or use our Elastilon underlayment.Q:
