Out of 9 boxes I had 1 board was 7' long. Most of the boards are 7" to 15" and when I did get a longer one it was damaged on top or on the tounge.I have a box and a half left and most of is very short boards.

I'm installing this in our bedroom,over 3/4 ply sub floor with radiant heat installed under. I plan to glue down because of nail penetration will this be a problem?

  Glueing down is not an option with this product.
  
  This is a solid 3/4" product designed to be nailed to a wood substrate.
  But can be installed over concrete using our Elastilon underlayment.
  What you should know about Elastilon Strong
  An Elastilon-backed wood floor is much faster to install than traditional nail or glue-down methods.
  Elastilon Strong can be installed as a floating floor.
  Laid down with a 5/8” (15 mm) expansion gap, Elastilon Strong creates a dynamic, floating floor that expands or contracts naturally with the hardwood.
  Elastilon Strong has no odor and is free of volatile materials.
  Elastilon Strong gives cushioned comfort.
  1/8” (3 mm) thick Elastilon Strong has ratings of IIC 62 and STC 54.
  Thermal resistance: R _ 0,15 (m K) / W

Q:
I have the 1/2 inch butter rum oak by casa de colour which I bought on closeout sale.
There is damage to the outer edge of the boards and now that it is installed, what can I do?
My contractor never seems to have inspected the product, or cared.
How can I fix these little damages to the outer edges of each piece of wood?
What is the best way to clean this wood, so I don't damage it? I have read many posts of people using ammonia and water, Hoover cleaner machines, windex and Murphy's oil? Vinegar and water?
I have the wood all over the house, even the kitchen and utility room. THanks for your help!

  I would recommend having the installer to come back and clean up his job, or you can purchase touch up markers and filler wax sticks at a paint store or home center to touch up these blemishes.
  We do not recommend steam mops on our laminates or on any of our floors. Although steam mops are appropriate for kitchen sheet vinyl or ceramic tiles. Wood, laminate and cork floorings have raw seam edges that can swell or cup after steam cleaning. We recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes.

  This finish has a 25 Year residential wear warranty.

  Yes, this would be the way to refinish this floor if and when required.

  The Casa de Colour flooring will have 7 coats of a water base polyurethane with two anti-scratch aluminum oxide top coats. It will have a slight micro bevel.
