3/8" x 3" Butterscotch Oak Quick Clic Engineered Flooring - 10 Year Warranty

Quick Clic at a great price!

Quick Highlights:
- Real Wood Layer
- Easy Floating "Click-Together" installation

About Engineered Flooring:
Hardwood veneer layers are stacked on one another, with the grain of the adjacent layers oriented perpendicular to each other.
Because wood expands and contracts in the direction of the grain, one layer stabilizes the next, resulting in a product that is less susceptible to the effects of moisture & temperature change.

  • Q:

I have two older cats who are having some issues. They've destroyed the carpet I put down a year ago. Would laminate or engineered flooring be better (knowing it will get peed on)? Assuming I find the accidents within 12 hours or so (if it's done while I'm at work, I won't find it until I get home), will the urine penetrate laminate? Will it penetrate engineered wood?

      A:

Pet accidents, when cleaned up fairly quick aren't an issue but if left to dry they can burn the finish of most floors except for tile.

  • Q:

Can the 3/8" Quick Clic products be sanded down and refinished?
Asked on 8/26/2014 by Claudia from Pennsylvania

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

To restore the original shine of a solid hardwood, bamboo, cork, and engineered floor a screen and re-coat may be needed or a complete refinishing. A professional sand and finish expert would have to make the determination on site on which sanding process will be needed or which can be done to restore the floors shine. Not all engineered floors can be refinished because of having a thin veneer layer.
      Thank you for your inquiry.

We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. Thank you for your inquiry.

While this is a Major Brand item I would not have the specifications of this material, however most of our products of this nature are in random lengths

  • Q:

What is meant by cabin grade and how is it different from other engineered grades
    Asked on 4/11/2012 by Anonymous

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Cabin Grade flooring is material that did not meet our standards for 1st quality product. Cabin grade products will include variable amounts of milling, grading, and/or finishing defects; however, such imperfections should still provide a serviceable floor. The 10 year warranty is a limited finish wear warranty and does not cover milling, grading, and/or finishing defects that must be worked around during installation as necessary.

Cabin, tavern, or utility grade hardwood can provide a low-cost option in hardwood. When purchasing this grade be sure to add 20%-25% to complete the project.
