Schön Engineered Quick Clic bamboo flooring is constructed with a real, thick-sawn bamboo veneer atop a core consisting of layers of plywood. The core layers are precisely stacked with the grain of adjacent plies perpendicular to each other. This construction design provides greater stability as each layer offsets the next to counteract normal movement as the wood responds to the effects of moisture and temperature change. The stranded bamboo is a beautiful floor but all the other reviews about it scratching easily are absolutely accurate. You have to put felt pads on ALL your furniture that might be moved, especially dining room chairs that move frequently. Also, note, do not over order your flooring as Lumber Liquidators will not take back your unused flooring (accept as a store credit).

Time will tell! Wife very happy. Easy install with very little waste. Ended up using less than "measured". A couple of soft spots that I don't understand. Hope they settle out. Floor was leveled and these spots showed up after installation back at the beginning. Plenty of room around edges so not buckling and materials were in the room for over a week before install.

Beautiful floor!
Love the variations in color thru out the wood.
Shows dust and smudges easily but still highly recommend it. It is very durable and looks classy/elegant.

Initially, the floors looked beautiful but scratched easily the first time it was vacuumed. The flooring was professionally installed in our hall, sun room, master and guest rooms, and family room. The contractor made a frame around the hearth of our corner fireplace and a mantel topper out of the flooring and T-molding which really make it stand out.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We installed this flooring ourselves, and we are LOVING how it looks! We pulled up all the carpeting from the first floor of our home, and replaced it all with this bamboo flooring. Our home has been transformed! The color is perfect with our dark furniture, and complements all the warm colors in our home. I wish we had done this years ago!

This was my second floating floor, and the installation was a breeze. Floor is absolutely beautiful, although we spent a lot of time sorting through the boxes to pick out the sections that had flaws. Most of the flaws had to do with the way the bamboo was compressed, leaving voids that were filled with the urethane finish. We were able to use most of the flawed boards though on the perimeter of the rooms or in areas under large furniture like the beds. Definitely recommend this flooring!

We love the new bamboo flooring. Such warm, versatile colors. We have different wood furniture from warm to dark tones and the floor blends everything in. Its durable with our kid and dog, surface scraps rub out easily. We have had one deep scratch but that was out fault for rolling a sharp edge of furniture across it. I absolutely love this floor and recommend this over usual bamboo that is so much softer. More expensive but totally worth it, AND you can feel good about not ripping down the rainforest with Brazilian walnut!

We love this flooring. We renovated our kitchen and this beautiful dark flooring makes an excellent contrast with our honey colored cabinets and white countertops. It's easy to clean, does not seem to scratch too easily, and has a lovely gloss and soft shine to it. Dust and dirt do show easily but we knew that from other users' comments and we're fine with taking 60 seconds to sweep it each night. It's a beautiful, subtle, and classy floor.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I had this floor professionally installed which only took 1 day! The staff at Lumber Liquidators were awesome - I was in the showroom at Arlington Hts, IL and picked up my floor in Greensboro NC - everyone was great to work with!

Various reasons can contribute to squeaks. Squeaks can be installation or site related such as an unlevel subfloor or even environmental. Environmental squeaks in hardwood can be lessened by maintaining correct temperature levels of 60-80 and humidity levels of 30-50%, before and after installation. Because of the needed tongue and groove system in wood flooring, squeaks are bound to happen and are viewd as normal. However a persistent or excessive squeak found can be pulled down from underneath the floor by using the correct screw length. Also, try applying baby powder topically into the groove right at the squeak, it's less invasive and you may fine that it was all that was needed!Q:
