I wanted something that was bulletproof. This is perfect. Our contractor consulted with both the manufacturer and company that sold me this product before installing it. They recommended a heavy duty nailer because the wood is so tough. In spots, they had to predrill before they could nail the trim. I plan to eventually finish the rest of our house with this same trim --- love it!

Carbonized, stranded bamboo is the way to go for flooring. No need to acclimatize or keep in a controlled climate, like wood. Yet it looks and feels like hardwood. Easy to clean and very durable. Our 2 dogs (70#+)have not been able to leave scratches in it, altho they've tried. And the price is right! We are very pleased with the results of this flooring thoroughout our home.

For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.Q:

This baseboard measures 1/2' wide x 3-1/2 high.Q:
Can this base board be used with the matching Morning Star flooring without using a quarter round?1 answer
A:
This base board can be used with the Morning Star Strand Carbonized flooring with out using quarter round. If you leave a 5/8" expansion space between the flooring and the wall studs behind the dry wall the base board will cover the gap with out using quarter round.
