We had the engineered, Virginia Mills, wide plank hand scraped cinnamon maple floors installed in our master bedroom suite including the bathroom. The water closet area has ceramic tile but the remainder of the bath and closet are wood flooring. Very pleased with the beautiful finished rooms. The installer turned the direction of the wood from the bedroom to the bath which was easy to do with the design of the floor planks.Could not be happier and I know that we will enjoy for many years!
I installed the cinnamon maple engineered in a rv, the floor turned out great.
The boards lock together perfectly and the finish on them was flawless.
I have nothing about the product that wasn't great.

I am going to pull out wall to wall carpet and wants to install this in my southern California home. We have a patio door facing West, and have year long hot sun over 12 hours a day, plus an Old English sheepdog of 130 lbs. Will this sunlight breach the color of the floor? Since it is handscraped and not totally flat, with heavy traffic and a dog, will it scratch easily? Will the fact that it is handscraped cost extra to re-finish?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The fact that this is stained flooring, means that UV light will not fade the floor as much as a natural floor. That said a certain amount of fading can be expected.Q:
