We put this down in a craft room. I purchased 380 Ft2 (19 boxes) for 340 ft2 room. I ended up 2 boxes short.
On a positive note, once I told my local distribute he pointed me to Customer Care. They took care of the issue once pointed out. The two boxes were just enough to finish it up. Wife is pleased over all. So no problem....
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Best Uses
This is a beautiful product if you want quality floors with character and color variance. Being complete novices, we installed the floor in our living room and hallway (about 240 sq ft) over a 3 day period. Very tedious, hard work but the floor is beautiful. We ordered 10% more product and used every single usable board.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Generally hardwood flooring can be installed in kitchens however this flooring may be better in a low traffic area. Higher Warranty hardwood flooring is a better choice for a high traffic kitchen.Q:
