Product has everything you need. Knee pads could be a little more comfy, especially behind the knees. Straps very uncomfortable after awhile. Wound up using a stadium seat cushion. Doesn't effect the value of the kit though.

Other comments mention the rubber mallet shredding. The"white" mallet tool is meant for the tapping block and not the pry bar which is metal. Use a regular hammer. The knee pads are an excellent inclusion. An extra tapping block is a great idea as these can and do invariably break unless you get a professional model. A bottle of laminate glue included would be an excellent touch. Seems like $30 is just about the right price.

The kit is a good kit with some issues. The pull bar and hammer block are absolutely necessary for the install. Kneepads are needed but the ones in this kit are only marginal in quality. I used them but will buy/use better ones for my next install. The shims are used only some and there are more than you will need. The rubber mallot is a joke. Poor quality and useless. It started coming apart with each blow and left marks on the floor. I used my own hammer for the rest of the project.

Nice idea to have a kit in one box, but the mallet is oversized for the job and rubber breaks off easily. Tapping block broke about 1/2 way through the job. end block metal broke.

Overall, for around $30 this was a decent product. The rubber mallet they give you is nice because its white and non-marring. However, chunks do break off, so make sure those are cleaned up before overlaying the flooring on one of them. The knee pads were decent as well. I used them for my roofing project as well. I broke the tapping block that came with the kit and had to purchase another.
