3/8" x 4-1/4" Copper Maple Quick Clic Engineered Flooring Hardwood is heat treated with special thermo process that carbonizes the sugars in the wood. This process naturally deepens and enhances the color and character of the hardwood. Schon Quick Clic engineered flooring is constructed with a real hardwood veneer atop a moisture-resistant HDF core (high density fiberboard) which is made from real wood fibers that are compressed into a dense, impact-resistant format. In addition to providing extra protection against denting, the HDF enables the most precise milling of the locking profile to enhance ease of use and long-term durability. Backed by a 30 year warranty. |

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 3/8" x 4-1/4" Copper Maple:
WE LOVE THIS FLOOR!
My husband installed it himself over 3 days with no help in our living room, foyer and dining room. He replaced old light colored damaged oak in the foyer and white carpet in the two rooms. It looks amazing.
Our neighbors come by and are so jealous. The color is rich and each plank is so different. It really has variety and we love walking around finding our favorite boards. The color goes great with the furniture we have and I think it would fit many styles of decor. I can't say enough about it's beauty.
The satin finish is nice, but will show drops of water or smudges. I use the Bellawood spray cleaner about once a week with a dust mop and it does the trick to keeping it beautiful.
I was skeptical of using engineered wood over solid, but so far it's quality has been great. We have 4 cats that are very active and always chasing each other around. There are a few spots they have left scratches, but only I would notice as I look for them while cleaning. The floating aspect of the floor has not been a big issue. There were a few areas our subfloor was indented and we didn't do a great job filling it in and the floor sort of bounces in those spots, but again it's only noticable by us when we are looking for those flaws. No one else would notice.
What can I say, we are happy with it.

Easy to install and looks great. Cannot comment on durability because it has only been in for a couple of weeks, but everything else about the product is outstanding.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 3/8" x 4-1/4" Copper Maple:
I picked the flooring up myself and had it installed by a professional contractor in my livingroom and my kitchen. The floor is absolutely gorgeous-- the color and finish look amazing. Everyone says they would never guess that it isn't solid hardwood. It may not be the best choice for a kitchen, as I've already noticed that every little crumb or drop of water is easy to see (requiring very frequent cleaning) but is does look great.

We had this floor professionally installed. It looks great and, with the quite walk underlay has a soft give when you walk across it with no clacking from your foot steps that comes from glueing it down.

The wood is gorgeous. My wife and I were looking for a darker wood that did not have too many red tones. The only downfall is that the wood scratches easily. The staff at Lumber liquidators were helpful when ordering and with suggestions for installation. Overall a great experience.

Comments about Schön Quick Clic Engineered 3/8" x 4-1/4" Copper Maple:
No doubt, this flooring is beautiful, but it scratches easily. I recommend that it be installed in areas where you won't be dragging around furniture unless you've placed felt pads on the legs. Regular underlayment will not be adequate if you desire to feel a solid base underfoot. I had it professionally installed (we floated the floor) and even the Installers were surprised by how easily it went down.

We did our homework and looked for the best option. We were not disappointed. It looks just like in the pictures on the website!!
It was easier than we thought it would be to install.
Only suggestion is that a cork or felt underlayment will make it sound less hollow when you walk on it.
I highly recommend it to people who like to look of wood.

This flooring is made with 6 layers of water based polyurethane so scratching would happen but not has easily with something with less finish, the best material we retail as far as the finish is concerned is our Bellawood line which we have in solids and engineeredQ:

Bathroom Installation w/walk in shower ?1 answer
A:
Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
When installing copper maple engineered wood floor on concrete, how level should the floor be?1 answer
A:
The final surface must be flat to within 1/8" in 6' or 3/16" in 10'.Q:
With this Schon quick click floor it says no adhesive is needed. Does that mean there is a locking mechanism on all four sides of the board? Somewhere I read states it requires glue on the short ends. Is this true? If so, what kind of glue is best to use?1 answer
A:
First look to see if your flooring has a locking joint on the ends.Q:

CUSTOMER CARE

Will this work in a laundry rm and kitchen?,and will it hold up to dogs?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Hardwood, engineered, laminate (higher warranty laminate) and bamboo is acceptable for installation in a laundry, but we highly recommend you put a throw rug by any sink because an excess of water can damage any floor. Also you will need to wipe up any water as soon as possible.
