Color matches just fine...grain though..

Pros

  • Color matches
  • easy to use

Cons

  • Grain Differs
  • Lengths For Avg Stairs
  • Little Pricey Imho

Best Uses

  • For stairs

The other comment that says this doesn't match... is kind of right, but also very wrong. The color matches LL's Major Brand 6mm Donar Oak spot on. The grain pattern however, is very narrow, and doesn't match a lot of the wood. However, in a thousand square feet worth, I pulled out the grain that was a closer match, and used it with the stairs. That worked just fine for me. I got in trouble because I only ordered 1 piece because of the other review dissing this, and then they were out of stock and had to hunt the rest down.

If you're matching another vendors product, don't know. But if you're buying the set together from LL, this is what you want.

No match

Pros

  • Nice solid piece

Cons

  • Terrible Color Match

Best Uses

This is a nice easy to use stairnose, unfortunately it doesn't match the floor. I am still without a finished stair because I refuse to use such an obvious mismatch!
