It will depend on what size trowel is used.

      Trowel Recommendation and Approximate Coverage†

      Flooring Type Recommended Trowel

      Cork underlayment -1/16" x 1/16" x 1/16" = 125 to 185 sq. ft. per U.S. gal.

      Finger block parquet,
      solid and engineered
      wood flooring < 1/2" thick -1/8" x 1/8" x 1/8" = 35 to 45 sq. ft. per U.S. gal.

      Solid and engineered
      wood flooring
      > 1/2" and < 3/4" thick -1/4" x 1/4" x 1/4" 30 to 40 sq. ft. per U.S. gal.

† Trowel dimensions are depth/width/space. Coverages shown are for estimating purposes only. Actual jobsite coverages may vary according to substrate conditions, type of trowel used and setting practices.
