      LIMITATIONS

Do not install over any substrates containing asbestos. For interior installations only. Not recommended for flooring designed for nail-down installations only. Do not install when the moisture vapor emission rating (MVER) exceeds 5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. (2,27 kg per 92,9 m 2 ) per 24 hours, according to ASTM F1869. Do not install when the relative humidity (RH) of the concrete slab exceeds 80%, according to ASTM F2170. Concrete slabs exceeding 5 lbs. (2,27 kg) MVER or 80% RH should be treated with a moisture vapor reduction product. Use only when the substrate temperature is between 50°F and 90°F (10°C and 32°C), and when the ambient relative humidity is between 20% and 80%.

  • Q:

What is the best way to seal the can between uses?
Asked on 2/9/2016 by Dennis from United States

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

      To re-seal an open container:
Place a sheet of plastic (trash bag) over the top of the pail. Secure lid tightly over the plastic on top of pail.
Flip pail upside down and store it.
The plastic will help prevent the material from bonding the lid closed.
When ready to use: Carefully flip pail right side up. Remove lid.
Carefully cut and discard cured material and plastic from top of pail.
Any uncured material may be used.

  • Q:

Can i use this with solid maple flooring to glue directly to concrete basement slab? Also, is it possible to lay a vapor barrier somehow as well?
How clean does the concrete slab need to be before using the glue?

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

We do not recommend gluedown solids or engineered in basements. You can however Float an engineered floor with a 6 mil Poly Sheeting Moisture Barrier and appropriate underlayment for floating floors. See instructions for any particular engineered floor. Click types of engineered are the simpler to install.
