Texture is more rubbery than felt.
I would say that the pads are made out of rubber not FELT as package is labeled. Product is a good protector between furniture and flooring that you do not move. I purchased them for our kitchen chairs and they do not slide good on the flooring.
Keeps hardwood floor from being scratched.
They dont work on chairs that move. They keep moving and falling off so its useless. I have to go and buy some real felt. I bought tons of these to protect my floors, and its ok on furniture that does not move.. but obviously its the furniture that moves that will make the indents and lines into the floors. Definetely dont use on chairs that you sit on and move around. It flattens, moves and just does not stay and protect.
I got these at the store recommendations. I used them on my bookcase, dress and bed. The problem I had with them is after putting them on I went to move the dress a few inches back aggasit the wall. They peeled off the bottom. Same thing happen to my book case. I thought it was because I hadn't given them enough time to dry but with the book case I gave it more time before trying to put the book case aggaist the wall and same result.

So these items work great if the furnature isn't movable. I put these both on my couch and dining room chairs and the weight+movement on both caused the pads to rip. I would not purchase these again for those items but find somethine more durable to handle the weight and movement.

Great on light weight furniture. Good Price.
Not sutiable for heavy furniture, pads come off and furniture is hard to move on floors.

I bought these protectors with the idea that I would be using a product endorsed by Lumber Liquidators to protect my floors and my warranty. After applying several of these protectors (after cleaning the surfaces first) they literally fell off. Would not recommend this product for its intended use.
