The product was recommended by the store manager in Lombard for our floating bamboo flooring. Wouldn't have thought about it if it wasn't suggested. Glad we used it. I believe it made a huge difference on the completed job. Thanks.

Comments about Floating Floor Tongue & Groove Adhesive:
This glue gives you plenty of time to get the flooring in place before it starts setting up. But on the other hand the glue is cured and the flooring is ready to use in 24 hours.

Comments about Floating Floor Tongue & Groove Adhesive:
It works as it is supposed to do, but don't go out more than 3 board widths. Keep the plastic smooth as it can get pinched in the wood. Make sure the wood is as perfect as you can get it before you pull the plastic.

Comments about Floating Floor Tongue & Groove Adhesive:
Using this glue to float our engineered hardwood was simple. Using it reminded me of art class in elementary school. :) Very easy to use. Easy to clean up, as well. It's thin, like school glue. But it bonds very nicely.

I had the floors insalled by a professional, so I didn't use this product myself. They've only been in a couple weeks, but they look great and seem to be fitting and holding together perfectly so far.

can i use this for a floating, red oak, plank, tongue and grove, floor.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
We do not recommend tongue and groove floating solid flooring ever. This is because their dimensional stability will not allow for success for floating.Q:
I have an application where engineered flooring will be used on a step in a garage (from garage floor to house entry). The area to be covered is approx 45" x 14". The house is climate controlled but the garage is not and will range in temperatures anywhere from 32 - 100 degrees farenheit. Is this product suitable for this application?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This adhesive may be okay in those conditions however engineered flooring may not be. However one small step may be fine. It is recommended that the rooms that will have wood installed be climate controlled with temperatures of 50 to 80 degrees F., preferably 65 to 75 degrees F, humidity of 30%-60% preferably 35% to 55%. In addition tongue and groove adhesive is used with engineered when floating a floor, if adhering the flooring to a step use Bostik Best Adhesive (BBA).Q:

Are you supposed to use the Floating Floor Tongue & Groove Adhesive on Kensington Manor Golden Teak laminate flooring?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No. Laminate flooring is a glue less installation. See - www.lumberliquidators.com/assets/images/installation/dream_home.pdfQ:
If I have 234 sq ft of flooring to install, how much of the floating tongue and groove adhesive do I need?1 answer
A:
Approximate coverage per bottle: 400 linear (running) feet. Without knowing the width of your boards I can't figure out how many rows (joints) will need to be glued. My best guess is three bottles.Q:
I am following the manufacturers installation method of applying glue to the top of the tongue. But after the tongue is placed in the groove glue squirts up between the cracks. Even after is glue is removed while wet, residual glue is left in the cracks. How do I keep this from happening? The only way I have been able to remedy this is to apply the glue to the very end of the tongue so that none get's on the top. Will my floor be weaker because of this installation method?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Lessen the adhesive amount. Reduce the bead size, tape your boards as recommended, wipe excess and don't walk on until dry.
