the glue may be the best for bamboo but it was very sticky and runny and got over everything. it is easy to remove with baby wipes. also, it dried very fast, forming a sticky layer over good glue.

The product works well and the smell is bearable. Don't like the 4 gallon buckets. If you need 15 gallons you have to buy 16 gallons; you spend more and you waste money

It seemed to be quick and easy for the installers. The only bad thing was that it can be harmful for cats. Thankfully I was able to "capture" ours before the installation began. Other than that it went down easy and they were done before I knew it.

Had to get an extra bucket because my installer used this product to not only glue down the floor but also to smooth out minor imperfections in the slab. Very pleased with result.

Most likely because the wall base and quarter mouldings are to hard or the finish nail is to thin.
You may need to pre-drill and hand nail using a 4d finish nail.

                              Hi!
I am interested in how to best install the Morning Star Strand Bamboo in my basement. The current floor is engineered wood which has not stood up to the wear and tear of 6 pets. under the engineered wood in a sound/vapor barrier, old linoleum on concrete. I'd like to pull up the old engineered wood, reuse the underlayment if possible and glue the bamboo planks to each other at the seams, not glue it to the floor. My basement subfloor is not quite level, so I'd like to float it. What do you suggest for gluing the planks to each other and could you please provide a link to the product on your web site.
                              THX!

The only way you can install Bamboo below grade is if you float it over the Elastilon underlayment. You would also need to add 6 mil poly to create a moisture barrier. Please call our Tech and Installation Dept. @ (800) 366-4204 for a detailed answer to your question.
