Handscraped appearance and texture... Just like Hardwood flooring!

Kensington Manor by Dream Home - 12mm Glacier Peak Poplar Laminate Flooring - 30 Year Warranty

Kensington Manor is a premium 12mm + 3mm pre-glued underlayment laminate product line. What is unique is that most of the line has a handscraped finish appearance. This is not simply in the look, but also in the actual texture!
The combination of these 2 characteristics gives them a beautiful rustic feel!
Also, the V-groove and pre-glued 3mm underlayment will make your installation process quick and easy.

Quick Installation Tips:
- Store flooring flat for 48 hours in its original packaging at room temperature.
- Must be installed over a clean, stable, flat, smooth, and dry surface.
- Moisture barrier is recommended for installations over concrete.
- Make sure the panels are mixed sufficiently when you install them so that you do not end up with too many identical, light or dark panels next to each other.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ADDITIONAL PADDING:
Laminates having pre-attached padding can also be installed over an underlayment. When doing so, Lumber Liquidators recommends the use of our Bellawood Premium underlayment or ECO Silent Sound underlayment. These quality underlayments will best support the joints while ensuring superior thermal sound reduction qualities and are highly recommended for use with condominium associations, project planners and building specifiers.

Kensington Manor Flooring Advantages:
- Three different plank lengths per box
- No glue and no nails needed
- Easy Click Installation
- Moisture resistant board
- Thickness: 12mm + 3mm (1/8") pre-glued underlayment
- AC Rating: 3
- 30 Year Warranty

We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.)

this went in easy and it looks great. The only draw back is it has been in almost a week and I have noticed a few small chips on the corners of some board. Nothing huge but it is a bit disheartening. I with there was some sor of clear sealer or something I could put over it.

Nice looking floor, my husband said it was easy to install. My only complaint is that the corners of the wood pieces chipped very easily. We had to redo a bunch of pieces and as the days go on I'm noticing more and more chipped corners

                        Best Uses

we installed this in all the dry areas in the house. the color variation was exactly what we were looking for and is just beautiful. very easy to clean and is extremely durable. it took me about a week maybe to install the whole thing mostly by myself and that included laying the cork. we bought it almost a year ago, and finished the installation in March 2011. 9 months later, it's still as beautiful as the first day we started laying it in. we laid 3 mm cork sheets underneath becuase we have an old pier and beam house and needed a little more insulation between the plank subfloor and us. worked out perfect. the con is that the corners chip a bit if you arent very careful when knocking the tongues in the grooves. once you figure it out though, it's easy as. i chipped only a few, and all in the 1st room. and i had never ever installed flooring before.

All of our laminates, "composite" wood and engineered products are all CARB Phase II compliant and is stated so on the outside packaging. Starting January 1, 2009, California began regulating the formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products (particleboard, MDF, and hardwood plywood) sold in the state or used to make finished goods offered for sale in the state of California. The Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) is known as the "CARB rule." All products containing composite wood products must comply with this regulation.

A moisture test is recommended on all subfloors constructed over a crawl space or basement to determine if moisture is elevated. The source of elevated moisture should be identified and corrected before installation.
Moisture content of wood subfloor shall not exceed 12%. Test with meter.

A layer of 6mil poly sheeting should be installed as a moisture barrier over dirt floor of crawl space. Crawl space should be well ventilated and excessive moisture free.

How can I correct chips in the corners of pieces that were only seen after installation? Is there a 'fill' or 'paint' product?

In some photos the floors seem to have a handscraped look. And some people have commented that it feels good on the feet, which makes me think it is handscraped or at least machine scraped?
