Q:
Is there a rule regarding what direction to lay the wood flooring strips. i.e. lay strip parallel to long direction or lay strips perpendicular to long direction of room? How do door opening impact this decision? Do windows influence the direction? Thanks0 answers

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I have a Bellawood floor that holds up extremely well to our Hound Mix, Pit-Boxer, and another young mutt and a cat. Not to mention nieces, nephews, and work shoes. Excellent finish. It's not scratch free but no wood floor could be with these dogs. Harder floors like hickory (41% harder than Red Oak) or exotic floors will dent less easily. 3/4" hardwood can also be refinished several times. Light colors will hide potential scratches. Remember nothing is scratch proof but some do better than others.Q:
Could this be used for a ceiling in a shower?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Tongue and groove flooring has been successfully installed on ceilings and wall but Easy Click types like this is not appropriate. Bathroom installation; generally too much moisture for natural flooring to handle. Not recommended.Q:
Will this product scratch or dent?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
All natural wood products can scratch or dent. A good finish can help but even a premium finish like this may. While our finishes are some of the best in the business they will scratch as will any. If all precautions are taken ie, "Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often." then there isn't a problem, however when you factor in pets, shoes with debris in treads, etc., no finish will completely withstand certain stresses.Q:
Can it be installed over tile.1 answer
A:
Yes you can!Q:
Is this considered low, medium, or high gloss finish? What is the percentage of sheen?1 answer
A:
It is a medium gloss with 7 coats of Treffert or Klumpp (made in Germany)Q:
What is the grade of the HSQCGT?1 answer
A:
This is a select grade material
