Gorgeous wood species. The variation in grain patterns and tone/color are beautiful. It was easy to install by myself (average DIY'er) with a pneumatic cleat nailer. So far it appears to be very durable. It will scratch or dent if you try (it's wood, not steel) but has done well over the past couple months with a dog and 2 year old twins. Easily as durable as oak if not better, and the finish is easy to keep clean. I ordered enough to allow for 10% waste, but that was too much. I had very few "closet boards". Overall, very impressed with this product (and I'm picky).
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery to our home was excellent. Driver was happy to help unload and carry it into the house.

Q:What finish is this product? gloss, semi gloss, satin etc.?
A:This material is a 55% gloss
Q:1. Are the edges stained dark ?
A:We do not recommend using glue to install any 3/4" floor, we do retail a material call Elatilon that would allow this material to be installed over concrete as a floating floor application that would work wonderfully!
Q:How short/long are these boards?
Q:WHAT IS THE GRADE OF THIS PRODUCT
A:This is a select grade.
Q:how many coats of polyurethane are on this wood? we just bought it and don't think it's very protected. also, what product do you use? we want to add a coat or 2. very disappointed in that lack of poly.
A:The Casa de Colour 3/4" x 5" Moano Maple has 8 coats of a water base polyurethane finish with aluminum oxide mixed within to make it more durable. You can add a water base polyurethane over the original finish, but doing so will void the product warranty. Apply the new finish according to the finish manufactures recommendations. The best way to protect your flooring regardless of what finish is used is to make sure you use mats at door entrances, dust mop daily, and have a no shoe policy in the home. Keeping felt tips at the bottom of the furniture will help prevent scratches from them sliding. If you have pets trimming their nails or covering them with vinyl claw covers help can also prevent scratches.
Q:What is the weight per box?
A:it is about 95 lbs per box
