I cut the ends with a plunge saw to get them to overlap the edge of the cut out flooring for the track; so it looked like a t-molding on the ends. I used a stain pen to cover the exposed wood on the end. A solid wood one would look better on the exposed ends.

The only issue I had with this product was the shim strip that goes under the track was not thick enough. I was forced to run two strips of the shim to bring the track up to the height or my 12mm laminate. I am surprised by the, because this was designed just for the Golden Teak Laminate. Luckily I only used 3 of the 7.5 feet of end cap, so i had enough of the shim to make it work.
Once it was in, it looks great.

We used this against our newly installed laminated floor and our sliding door. It gives it a nice finished look.

Comments about Acacia Laminate End Cap w/ Track:
The floor seems strong but the trim scratches way to easy. I called the store and they said it shouldn't scratch that easy but it does. I'm going to get a stain stick to try and hide all the scratches. It shouldn't scratch that easy.

Comments about Acacia Laminate End Cap w/ Track:
Great flooring. Very happy with choice. I agonized what to put in the living room since it takes a beating as the kids are not too careful regarding sandy shoes and dropping things. No scratches yet (winter sand and snow!) I had an oops the other day tipping over a heavy wooden folding table. It landed on the table's corner. I immediately cursed since I was certain that the impact would have damaged the floor in a dramatic and catasthophic way, however, I was amazed to discover no damage.
I've installed several "floating" floors in the past but none of them had the pre-attached foam. That is the way to go if you can afford it. Makes the floor feel and sound like a nailed or glued down floor.
I find it easy to maintain. Originally, I wanted a lighter colored flooring because I thought It would make the room too dark. But the 12mm Golden Teak was on clearance at my local store so I bought that because otherwise I could not afford the "handscraped" look. I'm so glad I did. What a fine looking floor!
I installed the single plank floor by myself, each row was 12' wide. I think if you have a wider floor you would need a helper to keep the row in place as you tip it up to lock it in. Otherwise, the trickiest thing is to keep a random pattern of planks. The grain on the golden teak is designed so that you don't have to worry about that while laying out the pieces (a big help).
I also like that you can review the flooring. I found other reviews to be quite helpful when making the decision which flooring to choose. I had considered getting a real bamboo floor for several months but the concerns about scratching and dents changed my mind.
