Comments about Acacia Laminate Stair Nose:
Be sure to dry fit it before you glue it in. The directions said to use the spacer for the 12mm flooring I was installing however I had to use two spacers for the stair nose to be level. I wish the directions would have told me.

Comments about Acacia Laminate Stair Nose:
The length the piece comes in allows for 2 stair transition pieces per stick. It is a long piece so when transporting it, be careful not to snap it (we didn't but it was a concern). It matches our new flooring perfectly! Great product.

Comments about Acacia Laminate Stair Nose:
I love my floor. Makes the house look warm and inviting. The laminate is very durable and great for kids and pets. The stairs look great and not slippery, but must dust everyday.
Comments about Acacia Laminate Stair Nose:
Great flooring! It's thicker than the flooring in the same price range at [...]. My Husband didn't like that it came in three different lengths making it harder to install, but I liked the variety of lengths and the look of it. We had a couple of boxes left and were able to return it with no problems.

Q:
The golden teak laminate is 1/2 inch thick but after taking into account the overlap, the stair nose is only 1/4 inch thick so it will not sit flat because it is thinner than the flooring. This leaves a space between the stair nose and the stair. How do we install it? Is there a reference page for install?1 answer
A:
You will need to use a spacer (shim up) the nosing for it sit flat on stair.Q:
Does this stair nose install flush with the floor or will there be a bump at the end of the stair where the nose merges with the step?1 answer
A:
This nosing will overlap the laminate so there will be a bump.Q:
Does the stair nose have to be nailed down or does it have the plastic snap in piece like the T molding?1 answer
A:
It would be pre-drilled then screwed down to the sub floor.
