Love this flooring, looks very rich! Easy to install. Even with boxes from different lots, the flooring was uniform in color.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Gunstock Oak:
We started with a guest room/office and then continued into the hallway. Easy to install if you have the right tools. Very happy with the product only con is that some boxes had scratches and warped boards but was able to use most of those in the closets. Now continuing into the bedrooms.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Gunstock Oak:
The prefinished flooring works well in the office and bedroom. The bevelled edges don't seem to be good for areas that need to be washed often, such as the kitchen. The flat butt edges of unfinished flooring are better for the kitchen floor since there are no grooves to hold moisture; but there is a LOT more work to sand, stain and polyurethane after laying the flooring.

Natural wood color is ambient and pleasing to the eye. However, this hardwood can scratch easily.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Gunstock Oak:
Nice finish and color. End gaps can be inconsistent and can look as if they were not butted properly during installation. Less noticeable with this darker color. Overall nice look.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Gunstock Oak:
Got this floor to change my ugly carpet in the second floor walkway and bedrooms area = ~ 500 ft2. the floor was unique enoough to create 2 different patterns for 2 of my children rooms: zebra and regular one.. zebra room got gourgeous with a lot of characters, the other one is good too - very uniform and calm. Installation was ok, nothing bed to anticipate. Got very little waste, almost nothing.

Q:
i have 3 boxes of this product at home since i put this floor in my living room, family room and corridors. I will like to place wood floors in my room. Can you tell me approximately how much sf of floor per box? Thanks,1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
20 sq. ft. per boxQ:
Is this square-edge or bevel-edge finish?1 answer
A:
This is a beveled product.Q:
can you get this gunstock 3/4", 21/4 wide wood flooring in a low gloss finish1 answer
A:
This flooring is finished with a 55% gloss, this can not be finished in other percentage in reference to the gloss/matte - sorryQ:
We recently installed this flooring throughout our house and asked an employee at a home improvement store how we should maintain it. He suggested we wax it first to protect it, then clean regularly with hardwood floor cleaner. Now, after applying wax to one entire room--and having a hard time cleaning it off--I read on an online site that floors treated with polyurethane should not ever be waxed. What do we do now? How do we safely and effectively clean off the wax?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. Most likely once the residue is removed from the original factory finish the floor can be maintained easily.Q:
Are their trim pieces available in this product, for transition to adjacent carpet? Also, I am interested in this product at its current "floorbuster" price of $2.99 s.f. This is for new construction and I won't be ready for flooring for a month or so. Is this a time limited price?1 answer
A:
Yes, we carry all the necessary trim pieces for the Gunstock floors. The current price on the Casa de Colour Gunstock out is a limited time offer. Your timeline for the project might work as it may be necessary for us to move the material from our main facility in VA to your local Lumber Liquidators store. Please contact our product specialists at 800-476-0007 with any additional questions or to further discuss your project. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
we currently have Bruce CB421 3/4 x 2 1/4 gunstock oak in our kitchen and want to replace carpet in the hallway and bedrooms to match. Bruce floors are quite expensive. Can the brand be interchanged? Is gunstock oak a common finish where it would match what we currently have?1 answer
A:
Stain colors vary significantly between manufacturers; your best alternative will be to order samples or visit one of our stores to find the closest choice to complement your existing floor. Feel free to contact our product specialists at 800-476-0007 with any additional questions or to further discuss your project. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
If I chose that you install, will you rip up old kitchen tiles first? If so, how much would that cost? My kitchen is approximately 12-20'1 answer
A:
Basic installation for solid floors starts at $ 2.50, and at $ 1.99 for laminates. Additional work that needs to be completed will be factored in by the Installer at the time of the estimate. Ultimate cost for installation will depend on the total square footage, geographical area and complexity of the installation. For more specific information please feel free to contact our installation partner at 877-477-1116. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
Is there a touch-up stain to match the Casa de colour for scratches.1 answer
A:
Unfortunately this stain is not available in a can for retail sale. I would recommend bringing a scrap piece of the flooring to a paint store and they should be able to match the stain for you. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
What are the lengths of each board?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Natural Grade flooring contains distinct variations in coloration and varying wood characters. Natural grade flooring will have a slightly longer average plank length compared to Rustic grade products. Lengths are random from approximately 12" to 65".Q:
does this product have something like evershine already applied to it?1 answer
A:
This prefinished product has 7 coats of Treffert or Klumpp (made in Germany) highly resistant polyurethane finish with aluminum oxide anti-scratch and a 55% gloss (semi gloss).
