Installation Tips:

  • Nail-down, glue-down, or edge-glue and float.
  • Store flooring flat for 48 hours in its original packaging at room temperature.
  • Must be installed over a clean, stable, flat, smooth, and dry surface.
  • Moisture barrier is required for installations over concrete.
  • For a more natural look, mix plans well when installing.

About Distressed Flooring:
The distressing technique gives floors a natural, time-worn appeal. It beautifully replicates the rippled appearance of a vintage, handcrafted floor.

We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.)

Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.

Thank you for your purchase with Lumber Liquidators. I'm sorry to hear about the cleaning difficulties Our Bellawood floor cleaner does not contain any polishes ,wax or anything that will build on the surface and is recommended to be used on all our flooring products. I do hear of this scenario often enough and it most always prooves out that there was another cleaning product used previously on the floor that is reacting to the Bellawood cleaner. Most likely once the residue is removed from the original factory finish the floor can be maintained easily. Thank you for your inquiry.
