Schön Quick Clic Engineered 7/16" x 4-3/4" Hermitage Red Oak Quick Clic
Length: 13-3/4"- 47-1/4"
Schön Quick Clic engineered flooring is constructed with a real hardwood veneer atop a moisture-resistant HDF core (high density fiberboard) which is made from real wood fibers that are compressed into a dense, impact-resistant format. In addition to providing extra protection against denting, the HDF enables the most precise milling of the locking profile to enhance ease of use and long-term durability.

I put this floor down over a concrete foundation in my patio home.(living room and bedroom) It looks absolutely beautiful! The Quick Clic was super fast to install. An underlayment moisture barrier/quiet walk was used underneath. It does squeak at first when it first goes down (which I'm told is normal for a floating quick clic floor) but it's only been down for 2 days and it's already getting better. My dog has yet to adjust LOL... but no scratches!!! I'm sure they will come but it doesn't and hasn't easily scratched. So glad I saved the money to finally upgrade my little home! LOVE IT!

Q:What is the gloss level of this floor. Is it polyurethaned?
A:This product question would be better answered by our Sales Department, they are more familiar with all of our flooring products and can better assist you with your questions.
Q:Is the Stair Nosing for this flooring Quick Click also or overlapping?
A:Quick Click nosing is designed to overlap like laminate flooring stair nose does.
Q:does engineered flooring have to be acclimated to the house like hardwoods? I don't have the heater installed yet in my new house and it is only 50 degrees.
A:Absolutely yes. All wood products are affected by environmental conditions especially prefinished materials. Acclimate the new flooring in the areas to be installed to normal lived-in conditions while in the boxes. Length of time is not the determining factor. The goal is to reach a moisture equilibrium or balance between the new flooring with its surroundings before installation. This balance could be achieved in as little as 1 to 5 days, or longer for some exotic species. For best performance, condition the flooring to consistent indoor temperatures of 60°-80° F and indoor humidity levels of 30% - 50%. Very dry or humid regions usually require extended conditioning. Recommended acclimation levels maintained even after the installation will minimize board movement, excessive squeaks and gaps.
Q:Can this be installed over particle board? What type of underlayment is needed for a high spill/high traffic area?
A:Yes you can!
Q:Does the engineered flooring work on below grade floors. I have a quad level and would like to put it in my family room that is below ground level.
A:Yes it can. With proper installation and care this flooring will last for years in this application. You can find complete care and installation instructions on the product page by clicking on the specs tab and then clicking on - Installation Guide.pdf Thank you for your question.
