This flooring was easy to install. We had pros to do the den & dining room, then did the bedroom, hall, and closets ourselves. My dogs have broken it in and there is no problem. Just wipe up accidents with wet cloth. I am very pleased. I did a lot of research on laminate and finally pick this produce from a sample at the store.
Service and delivery comments:
Prompt delivery at store. They loaded it onto a trailer for me. It was on a pallet because I bought 1000 sq. feet. There were 2 boards missing out of one box that was in the middle of the pallet. One board had glue and plastic stuck to it in another box. Over all I was very pleased and relieved that Lumber Liquidators did such a good job of packaging and help with everything.

The layout looks amazing after completing the job. Flows well through the house. Appears just as nice as hardwood at a lot lower cost. We have kids and pets and highly recommend over hardwood due to the durability, plus it carries a 25 year warranty! Overall fantastic buy.

I was impressed on how it look when I finally installed it. The only bad thing about it is that the way it hooks togther. It is hard to use the knock in tools. I found that if you cut a peice off one of the boards and lock it in and smack them together works best. You need to file down the edges as you go or will chip. It chips easily if you don't have the right tools to put them together. That is the only problem I found with the floor.
It haven't seen any scratches on the floor yet and it's been down for two weeks. Need to put down felt pads on your furniture to prevent from scratching you're floor when moving them around.
Overall great product for the price. Just remember to order enough extra because there is a lot of waste if you house/room is not perfectly shaped. Would definitely buy this over any higher priced product. I only gave it a Four Star because of the way the tools don't fit properly.

We used this flooring on the advice of one of the online chat experts to put in a surprise mancave for my husband in our NC garage. It is gorgeous, and the person who laid it (320 sq ft) did so in one day. We chose the eco underlay pad with it due to placing on cement. My husband LOVES it!!

We put this floor in our walk out basement and it looks beautiful. The color variation allows you to have more options with furniture colors and wall colors. But it is a little slippery when my kids have there socks on. They either have to be bare footed or keep shoes on. That's my only complaint. Over all its a great floor at a great price. Love!!!

We had the entire home done with this style laminate, professionally installed. It was so hard to settle on a particular laminate but in the end I am very happy with it. Looks great. A bit of gloss but not too heavy. Installers said it was good stuff that went down well with very little waste or damaged product out of the box. Very happy with it.

Q:
If i decide to buy this laminate flooring. Will i be able to cover my stairs with the same laminate ?1 answer
A:
Yes, laminate flooring can be used to cover a set of stairs but due to the overlap design of the stair nosings it would not be my first choice for a full flight of stairs.Q:
what types of flooring can be used with radiant heat1 answer
A:
Lumber Liquidators recommends floating floors -flooring not attached to the subfloor- for radiant heat applications. To ensure performance, the consumer should be aware of risks associated with nailing or gluing solid wood over radiant heat and ensure product selection and installation practices are appropriate for the application. If you choose to use solid wood, select quarter-sawn or rift-sawn materials. Note that even using solid wood species with known positive dimensional *stability characteristics than others, cannot predictably be guaranteed to perform well in every application. In addition, radiant systems if not monitored and controlled properly can negatively impact the long term finish performance of wood flooring and may result in finish chipping, peeling or hazy finish.Q:
Is this product CARB ATCM compliant? I'm having trouble finding any info about the formaldehyde content of this product.1 answer
A:
Our laminates, "composite" wood and engineered products are all CARB Phase II compliant and is stated so on the outside packaging. Starting January 1, 2009, California began regulating the formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products (particleboard, MDF, and hardwood plywood) sold in the state or used to make finished goods offered for sale in the state of California. The Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) is known as the "CARB rule." All products containing composite wood products must comply with this regulation.Q:
What is the maximum continuous run?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Floating flooring needs to have an expansion break for spans over 27' (laminate) and 30' (engineered). Manufacturers recommend a center expansion for rooms over 27’ in length because once all the boards are assembled together the flooring can be very heavy. This center expansion allows the heavy weight of the total floor additional center movement or relief if needed, preventing possible center buckling of the floor.Q:
How loud is this laminate if you only use the 6mil poly?1 answer
A:
I have no test result for this question.Q:
Is there any matching reducers or T molding1 answer
A:
This product question would be better answered by our Sales Department, they are more familiar with all of our flooring products and can better assist you with your questions.Q:
What does it mean by floating floor?1 answer
A:
Floating means it is not attached by gluing or nailing to the sub-floor.Q:
In regards to the Dream Home - Nirvana PLUS 10mm Hot Springs Hickory Laminate, is there a wide variety of the wood grain pattern or only a few pattern versions.1 answer
A:
For the 10HH, there are 7 unique planks.Q:
We have a large dog. Will this floor hold up or will we see scratches from her right away?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Nothing is scratch proof however laminate flooring holds up better than most any hardwood flooring. The only con would be you cannot refinish like hardwood but for durability and cost, you can't go wrong with this 10mm laminate Made in USA. Regardless of the floor you choose, keeping nails trimmed is a good idea. Another idea is to cover nails with vinyl claw covers.Q:
I see two different answers to the same question. What is the width of the plank? The last couple responses say 9 inch, and then some say 6 inch. Is the surface smooth or does it have a bit of wood grain style to it?1 answer
A:
These planks are approx. 8" wide.
