I did one bedroom in this wood and immediately loved it so ordered up enough for the second bedroom. The layer liked it a lot. He said having 3 different lenghths of planks was a grade up from normal laminate.
It just looks rich. I was afraid it might be too dark but NO way. The texture is gorgeous. I couldn't be happier!

love our new floors. fabulous upgrade from nasty carpet. we have a 40lb dog with long nails and she dose fine with it. no scratches. Our 8 year old son hasnt scratched it yet either in the 3 weeks weve had it and there is constantly play going on in the house. We are a rough and tumble family. We did (during installation) have a few pieces that we chipped (minor) due to banging too hard but it was easily fixed with a wood marker. all in all i was very impressed. easy to install, cut, put together, etc. Couldnt have asked for a better first time experience.
HOWEVER, I have since learned a few things. We went to LL one weekend with a particular floor in mind. hated the look of it in person, so we looked around. sales guy was great, pointed us in the right direction, listened and made appropriate suggestions. LOVED the experience we had initially. I am all about customer service. we found a floor 3 times our initial budget and loved it, so we splurged a bit. sales guys worked us a great deal and we felt more comfortable. THEN, we find out its not in stock. BUMMER! We had no idea. we were just sold on a floor we had to wait 2 weeks for. Maybe im just impatient. We pay, and as were leaving I ask for a sample so i can compare and see have something to look at physically. No samples. Sales guy said he would get one and call me in a day or so. No call. the week our floors are supposed to come in (on a fri) I call on Monday to confirm and line up workers etc... he says he cant guarantee the floor to be in on fri, maybe Mondays truck but hell check the trucks inventory tomorrow (Tues) and call me back. no call Tuesday. I call wed and the floor wont be in until Monday. sets us back a week. BUT i have to give him credit. he called Thursday afternoon and said another customer had purchased the same flooring as us and they werent picking up until a few weeks out. So we could have their floor, and they could have ours. Not sure how I felt about it for the other customers but i guess they were none the wiser.

I installed this in a living room/dining room combo and down the hall to the bedrooms. I absolutely LOVE the look of the floor, but it is a high maintenance floor. Every bare footprint or sock print not to mention every shoe print shows-not to mention each dust particle so that even after you've mopped, it is never truly clean. Period. If you don't mind mopping every other day (not dusting but mopping) this is a good floor. However, my biggest complaint is the durability. I've had mine installed for almost a year and here's what I've found. If you pull a laundry basket or tub of toys across the floor, it scratches and leaves marks. If you are unsure about this floor, I would highly suggest you drop your key ring on the floor from hip height onto the sample in the store and see the divets it leaves in the floor to give you an idea of what happens in real life when things are dropped or slide off the table etc. Hence, my recommendation for a bedroom. I would NEVER put this in a kitchen because one dropped pan or a table knife on the floor leaves visible marks. We have two older children 10 and 14 and a small dog (shihzhu)and I still love the look of this floor, but I wonder how long it will look this nice. I purchased it on sale and for the price, I would still purchase it again, but.... keep a brown marker handy for the chips on the edges of the boards. I keep a mop ready to wipe up any water that the dog or kids bring in onto the floor and after a year, the family is almost trained! LOL. We installed in March 2012 so it's been almost a year. We did not have quality, warping, or white issues on any of our boards...maybe they changed where it was manufactured since then? Might be a good question to ask as I purchased it in January 2012. A few cartons had some damage on the ends, but we cut it off during install. My hubby installed as a casual do-it-yourselfer and he hated it, but that was only because his knees were killing him after the first couple of days. Buy a laminate floor laying kit...it's a must. Overall, my room is transformed and everyone loves the look of it including me. After almost a year, I still love the look of it, I just keep telling my kids that they have to pick up the laundry and not drag it across the floor and be careful not to drop ANYTHING. So far so good. So maybe a small family or a couple with older kids or no kids would be a better fit for this floor. The people at the store were amazing and really helpful so I have no complaints there. Very easy to work with and helpful with lots of install questions because we were doing it ourselves. That was worth it's weight in gold!

I enjoyed the ease of installation. It was frustrating to see chipped corners and how easily it scratches. I already have a long scratch in my new floor.

Had this floor for a year 1/2 in living room so far....LOVE it!! We have a baby and a yorkie and this floor has held up so well. This is a high traffic area for us and we have had no scratches and the seams have all stayed together. It still looks brand new! Can't wait to do my bedroom in the same floor!!

I needed a floor that looks beautiful and withstand the daily grind of 2 adults, 3 kids and 2 boxers. After reading the reviews we decided on the Kennsington Manor flooring, the Big Box store brands don't even compare and were way over priced. I installed 1000 sqft by myself with no experience. Highly recommend this product.

Sales rep. Was helpful. Installer did a good job, although by himself ( assistant unavailable) thought he installed within a reasonable time frame, courteous & pleasant.

My husband and I installed this flooring in our newly constructed home. We installed in the entry areas, den, kitchen, and living room. We have experience putting in other laminate flooring, and this was MUCH easier to isntall. You do have to be careful when installing, the corners chip easily. We bought a Miniwax wood stain pen in Red Mahoganny and it works well on these spots.

What is the best way to clean and care for my Kensington Manor Imperial Teak 12 mm flooring. There are a lot of products out on the market that say for use on laminate floors I don't want residue build up.1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. In addition, we do not recommend using steamers or wet-jet cleaning systems for hardwood because spraying can collect moisture in between board edges. The use of these products is at your own risk.Q:
If the boards are chipped or damaged upon inspection at the store at time of pick up, will Lumber Liquidators replace the boards? I am odering over 30 boxes. Do you recommend inspecting every board at the time of pick up or can the boards be inspected at my house and returned for replacements if found to be chipped/ cracked at that time?1 answer
