Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Koka Oak:
Overall product met the quality for the price. As previous reviewer mentioned, there was a lot of warped and cracked boards in each case. We installed 750 sq. ft in our bedroom / hallway / living room and found that about 3-4 sq. ft. per 22 sq. ft box was unusable.
Several boards cracked during install with air floor nailer. Overall, tough to beat the quality of the product for the price. If you are looking for a fair price and decent quality, this is the product for you. If you are aiming for much longer term quality 15 years plus, Bellawood is probably your answer.
Overall, the dark finish looks nice but it is recommended to get a stain match upon purchase as floor nailer can cause minor scuffs that will need retouch upon finish. Overall, I recommend the flooring at the price.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Koka Oak:
Bought 37 boxes, each box had anywhere from 30% to 40% damage such as cracked, warped, and pitted boards, resulting in excessive amount of scrap. The pro i had install it had never seen such a bad lot of wood. Was not worth what we paid for it, Was very disappointed in lumber liquidators as a first time customer.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Koka Oak:
With the dark color, differences in finish from box to box are noticable. Also, buy touch up stain for the edges as the color makes the cuts very noticable. Grain is sometimes hard to make out. I am worried that the dark appearence will age less gracefully. Slightly more challenging to work with than 2.25" boards.

Initially we were little worried it might be too dark for our apartment. But after installation and cleaning of the floor, it looks simply perfect. We love this floor more and more each day. It is rich and dark and deep. It's just beautiful.

A:
The 3/4" x 3-1/4" Koka Oak is an oak wood with a janka hardness rating of 1260 which makes it easier to dent than other harder flooring choices. All flooring can potentially scratch even the hardest exotic wood can get a scratch that is one of the reasons finishes are put on a floor to help protect the wood. To prevent scratches sweep and vacuum regularly to get up fine grit. Try to keep a no shoe policy in the home to prevent grit from shoes scratching the floor. Use felt tips on furniture legs to prevent scratches from sliding furniture. Trim pet nails or cover them with vinyl claw covers. If you were to get a scratch or dent they can be fixed with different repair products at flooring supply companies or a board replacement can be done if needed.A:
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factor that influence wear.
