We purchased this flooring to replace carpet in our basement family room and office, that had been damaged due to water issues. We chose vinyl in case the water came back to haunt us! It went down very very easily, and we were done with 2 large rooms in a weekend. Everyone who sees the pictures can't believe it's vinyl - they think it's real wood! Couldn't be happier, it looks beautiful and we are very pleased with the results.
Easy to put together and looks great! Put down underlay and 300 square feet in a little over a day. Very easy to cut with just a utility knife!

This product went in easily except for the fact that the builder used a thousand staples on the carpet pad which had to be pulled out one by one to prep the subfloor. I used furniture pads on everything and have had absolutely no scratches. Product seems durable, time will tell.
The texture of this floor is delightful, the simulated hand scraped texture adds a realism not available in flat composite wood products. Be sure to use out of several boxes at a time and watch for pattern repeats next to each other.

Our Condo Association specs require a Sound Transmission Class rating of 50 or greater and an Impact Insulation Class rating of 50 or greater. We are considering installing your Tranquility Vinyl over the existing vinyl tile floor which is over concrete. Do we need an underlayment to meet their specs? If so, which would you recommend?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Our clic Vinyl planks can also be installed over an underlayment with greater STC than 50. When doing so, Lumber Liquidators recommends the use of our Bellawood Premium underlayment or ECO Silent Sound underlayment. These quality underlayments best support the joints while ensuring superior thermal and sound reduction qualities and is highly recommended for use with condominium associations, project planners and building specifiers.Q:

How do you trim this material near the edge of a tub? A marble doorway threshold? Does it require an expansion gap like other laminate flooring? I also have to cut around a toilet drain in the floor for a bathroom update. Is there a recommended way or tip to cutting a circle shaped opening in the flooring? Scroll saw? Razor knife? Thx1 answer

A:
Use a good sharp utility knife. A minimum of 1⁄4” expansion space is required around the perimeter of the room as well as any fixed objects. The expansion space around the perimeter of the pipe should be completely filled with a silicone caulking.Q:
