I purchased this product a year ago. DIY install and I have never installed flooring before. I have minimal construction experience. The install was fairly easy overall. I SERIOUSLY recommend buying or renting a small miter saw, small table saw, and jigsaw. I did the entire install with a circular saw and a jigsaw and that was a pain. I put this in a 1944 build, with a remodeled layout. PLEASE make sure your floor is level. I have one spot between the kitchen and living room that is not perfect and I plan on pulling the flooring from the kitchen to fix the issue. Overall this product has exceeded my expectations. I have two dogs, one pitbull that runs around like a beast. I deep cleaned the floors this week and there are no noticeable scratches after an entire year of playing tug of war in the living room with my pitbull. The variation in the color keeps them looking clean even when they're a little dirty. Hope this review helps!

Easy to install with no flooring experience (once you get the hang of it on the first three rows). Get the install kit and a dead blow hammer. It works wonders. So far seems like a great product. You will see alot of repeat patterns so make sure you mix them up.

I picked this flooring to compliment doors and baseboards that are stained and it looks fantastic. Not too matchy and has lots of depth and variation to all the boards. I love this flooring and with the extra underlayment, it does not sound like laminate at all.

*We installed this product in our kitchen, living room, and dining room. In the kitchen we put it down right over linoleum but in the living and dining we pulled out carpet and installed it over the sub-floor. It is very easy to use with directions in each box of flooring as well as detailed instructions online.
*One thing we learned that can cause some difficulty in joining the boards with a tight seam: the piece which "clicks" to the other boards is a softer, more fragile material and can chip off. It still clicks together great as long as the piece that's chipped off hasn't gotten stuck in the groove. Just check each board's grooves for debris and it will work just fine.
*This particular variety (Lake Toba Teak) came in eleven different boards with varying grains and shades of coloring. This made it easy to not repeat the same board twice too closely together.
*The day after we finished installing the floor, we had a family gathering with adults, children, dogs, and food. The floor held up great and was easily cleaned up. No scratches found yet, either.

*Our order was ready when I was told it would be. The staff were extremely helpful in the ordering process as well as loading the van when picking up the floors. I ordered the floors from one location but drove to another location where I could pick up the flooring in stock. At BOTH locations the staff were extremely helpful with answering questions and making recommendations while being honest about what I do and don't need. No unnecessary upselling, just set me up with things I actually needed and that was it.
*I have had a couple questions throughout this process and have had great experiences with either calling in to the store or through the online chat.

While we truly love the look of our new flooring, the fit leaves something to be desired. We finished our dining and living room over the course of three days, and at first everything seemed to be settling nicely. But we soon noticed that as we walked across the new floor, we could feel some of the boards rocking beneath our feet. We chalked it up to the floor needing time to "settle" but that still hasn't happened. After speaking with a carpenter friend of ours, it's his belief that the flooring is not locking into place properly and may have to be replaced. Perhaps having this professionally installed would have prevented this. Either way, the floors look great! Just not sure what to do about the rocking boards.

Installed 700 sq ft of flooring. It is hard to install. Does not click together easily at all. Wish I would have went with another floor.

The colors of light and dark with yellow hues is perfect for our décor.

This floor looks beautiful in the kitchen, dining and laundry room! We had an open kitchen area, about 320 sq feet, with a white linoleum floor. To remodel we used lake toba teak in this space. The colors of the grain match beautifully with the oak cabinets and base boards in the home!

Ordering the floor was a breeze! After having an installer measure, lumber liquidators called us to inform us of the tax free sale. We ordered the floor at a great price and within a short period of time it was ready for pick up. The flooring, padding, and trim easily fit in two SUVs. Once the floor sat in the home for a week to acclimate, the installer was able to begin. The entire installation took less than 6 hours! We are so happy with the service and the product! Would recommend!

I used this flooring for approximately 600sq feet in the downstairs of my townhome. It took approximately 2 days to install the flooring and another day to do moldings and caulk/ paint the trim (with help). The flooring was quite easy to install once you got the hang of it. Key areas to pay attention to a A) being sure the click-lock is fully seated. I found that by inserting the piece to be laid into the existing piece at around a 30 degree angle, and rocking the piece up and down a few degrees, it would fall right into place with ease, rather than forcing it into place. B) Lay out your first row and any subsequent rows where room lengths have changed to be sure you won't have any really short pieces on one end of the room. This will save time from having to pull up an entire row of boards. C) It is often easier to remove SOME of the door jamb trim rather than cut it. Since this wood installs at an angle, you often will be unable to "slide" the wood into place under a door jamb. The jambs should still be trimmed, but you're going to have to cut the wood around some of the jambs regardless so don't cut too much.
