I am extremely pleased with this. It's only been down for a couple of weeks so I can't comment yet on the durability but I love the look and feel. If has a very realistic appearance with nice texture and the surface is even notched just enough to make it look like a real hardwood floor

floor looks great when completed. Cat loves the floor and so far can not see any scratches from her nails. pretty tricky to get them to click together. take your time and by the time you have about 10 rows done, you will be a pro at laying the rest of the floor

Very nice product. Easy install, but sensitive to humidity when installing. Does fine after complete lay down.
Installed in a Modular home I use as rental property.

Only one piece had dents due to tight stapping. Used that piece in closet!

Great Value. Product went on sale between the time I looked at it on the web and the time I got to the showroom. Floor seems very durable. Didn't DIY, but my installer liked it. Snapped together 800sq ft in a day.

This flooring is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend the look. It is a nice wide board that gives good depth and warmth to the space. It is very durable as well. We dropped hammers and metal bars on it during the installation and it was completely fine.
It is a little tricky to install. It has the undermount pad and the snap together pieces so that made things a bunch easier. However, you have to remember if you are doing this yourself, door frames and thresholds are a little tricky. Make sure to read up or ask in store about how to handle these situations.
Overall, I would definitely buy this flooring again. I'm very happy with the choice.

We put this laminate in our living room and partial hallway. We have a trailer so the subfloor was not level, but other than that this flooring was pretty good. I am 7 months pregnant and my husband broke his foot 2 months ago and we laid this in two days with minor help from a friend. I would recommend getting the install kit - it kept this from being a pain job.

Beautiful floor! Had a few problems getting it started. The floor has really beautiful variation in the color. We have two large dogs and the floor is standing up well to them and very easy to clean. We are planning on putting it in our family room. Everyone who comes to our home remarks on how pretty it is.

Laminate flooring is difficult to lay at first because all of the pieces keep trying to shift. I started in one bedroom and finished on the other side of the house. I now have to go back and pull up the bedroom to re-lay the floor so that it's tight. This could just be because I didn't know what I was doing. :) It truly is a beautiful floor. It's a nice mix between a light and medium oak, but not too light. The pre-attached padding is always a plus.
Went in relatively smooth, hardly any damaged boards, very happy with it

For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.Q:

We would like to install laminate flooring over a floor that has slate tiles on it. Everything is structurally sound, however being slate, it is not as flat as a plywood subfloor. Will this work, provided that we use an underlayment? We are planning to get a laminate that has a padding attached too. Thanks.1 answer
